I would give zero if it was an option. I had nothing but issues with this law firm. I did exceptionally better in my matter after I hired a different attorney from a different firm. I went through two here. I had to find out through emailing and calling relentlessly that the lawyer I hired had taken off for a month when I had court in 2 weeks. I should have been notified, but I wasn’t. I had to scramble just to retain another lawyer and it is very difficult to retain a lawyer for court in such a short period of time when they have to appear in court. I had to retain whatever lawyer was available. Do yourself a favor and just avoid this place. They can talk a good game to get your business and throughout the matter but when it comes time to follow through they do not perform on the level they lead you to believe they would, then have all the excuses in the world as to why it couldn’t happen after the fact. Not sure how this place got 4.6 stars, I would assume it might be because 1 lawyer is holding up the whole firms reviews.

If you care about your matter, do not take a chance on this firm. It is not worth the risk.

I have been dealing with Tammy for a number of years now and she is by far the best lawyer I’ve had. She is always very attentive and incredibly knowledgeable. She has been a tremendous help in my ongoing situation. She is very reliable and responds very quickly to situations. Along with all of that, she is beyond kind and down to earth. I will always trust Tammy to represent me and help guide me through legal matters.

My experience with Bradley Smith and his team from this firm was overwhelmingly positive. He provided sound advice, excellent guidance, and a compassionate but objective assessment of our situation at all times. Our particular case was sensitive in nature, and he ensured that all maters were handled professionally and respectfully, keeping our priorities paramount at all times. We were given honest guidance regarding anticipated financial costs, and exit opportunities were highlighted to ensure that we were comfortable with what to expect from monthly billing as we moved through proceedings. The services provided by Bradley and his team genuinely helped me and my family through a very difficult situation, not only because of the positive outcome in our situation but because of the objective and responsible advice and guidance that he was able to provide.

Tammy with Verhaeghe Law was nothing short of amazing to work with through a pretty difficult situation I had. She listened to me and she kept me grounded. She advocated strongly for myself and my daughters and didn’t ever make me feel like she was against me. She kept me calm through the entire process and she answered any questions I had, no matter how silly they might have been. She checked in and still checks in with me and my daughters regularly. I strongly recommend Tammy to anyone who is looking or in need of some legal advice or help. Tammy will fight till the end for you and will work with you respectfully to get those goals met. She’s always approachable and she is a wealth of knowledge with the family court system to answer any questions you may find yourself asking.

She’s such a kind person, patient, smart and she’s aggressive (in a good way) especially when she’s on your side of the table 😀 I appreciate her more than she even knows! Highly Recommended for any legal needs or advice!

The lawyer I was assigned at Queck & Associates was very inexperienced in my opinion. What should have been a very simple separation agreement ended up costing nearly $4K. This guy charged .1 or .2 of his hourly rate for every simple 20 second phone call or 1 line email. He used an “off the shelf, fill in the blanks” template and charged 2 hours to simply fill in the blanks with our names, address of joint property, vehicles and dates of marriage and separation. He was notified several times by both myself and my wife that we never had any children together but neglected to remove references to children with each iteration of the document. He screwed that up so badly that the opposing lawyer offered to correct and complete the agreement in order to get it done, which she did at no charge to my wife. After discussing the excessive charges with him, he did a couple minor adjustments on the first statement but continued to charge for every minor call or email. What should have taken about a month to complete this uncontested separation, it is finally complete after 4 months. I requested a brief meeting with this lawyer to sum up this case but he replied that he would only do that if he was paid to attend. This guy could be the “poster boy” for the term – “two-bit lawyer”! I summed up my displeasure with his performance in an email to him which was BCC’d to his boss but never heard back from either of them. Stay far away from this firm!!!

At the beginning, I did a consultation call with kinnar power. I’d like to say that he was the 8TH lawyer that I had talk to at this point and the first lawyer that was actually interested in what I had to say and showed me kindness and was interested in my case, and not the cost of services. he helped me through the hardest time in my life and made it a lot less stressful and easy to understand.he was also extremely supportive and accommodating to my cost as a single mom, struggling for custody of her children. Thank you again kinnar for your time and patience! I will most definitely being staying with this firm for all my needs

I had 2 weeks before my refugee hearing and Ayokunle Odekunle took my case on very short notice. I needed someone who knew the laws and regulations very well, I was under a lot of stress and had a lot of questions. Ayo helped with all of it and listened to my story.

My claim recently got accepted and I’m very grateful to Ayo for everything he did for me. It was thanks to his help that I managed to get accepted.

After being left in a lurch (with incredible short deadlines) by another law firm, I found Ayo! Ayo quickly understood the complexities and necessity to get things moving. Ayo was patient, diligent and committed to getting everything done, right, and on time! He went above and beyond. I finally feel confident that my lawyer has my best interests at heart.

Top Bankruptcy Lawyer Alternatives in Fort Saskatchewan

The Biggest Bankruptcy Lawyer in Canada

When facing financial difficulties, it can be overwhelming to navigate the complex world of bankruptcy laws and proceedings. However, in Fort Saskatchewan, there are several alternatives to hiring a bankruptcy lawyer that can help you manage your financial situation effectively. Here are three popular alternatives:

  • Credit Counseling: Credit counseling services can help you develop a realistic budget, negotiate with creditors to lower interest rates or monthly payments, and provide guidance on managing your debts effectively. These services are often offered by non-profit organizations and can help you avoid bankruptcy by working towards a debt repayment plan.
  • Debt Consolidation: Debt consolidation involves combining multiple debts into one loan or credit line with a lower interest rate. This can help simplify your payment process and potentially reduce the amount you owe. Debt consolidation loans are typically obtained from banks or credit unions, and they can be a viable alternative to bankruptcy if you have a steady income and can make regular payments.
  • Debt Settlement: Debt settlement involves negotiating with your creditors to reduce the amount you owe. This can be done independently or with the assistance of a debt settlement company. While debt settlement can have a negative impact on your credit score, it can provide a way to avoid bankruptcy and repay your debts at a reduced amount.

Before considering bankruptcy, it’s essential to consult with a financial advisor or credit counselor to explore these alternatives fully. They can help you assess your financial situation, evaluate the pros and cons of each option, and provide guidance on the best course of action to take.
