Almost always a long line. The least knowledgeable registry workers I have ever seen. Cannot/ will not give good information or simple answers. I’m 10000% sure they do this to keep lines long, waste time so they don’t have to actually help anyone, and make more money. Ridiculous and absolutely useless. Registry on wye in Sherwood park is the way to go.

This is the worst notary office l have done business with in my whole life. They rush you to finish their job, but then they waste your precious time with unending emails to get your payment for the job done. I think they don’t want to pay but simply make you give up asking and forget about it!! Very frustrating and unprofessional.

I and my family have been getting services in this notary services for more than five years and we were happy about all the services we had got them until this last one but last Friday I went for lie of guarantor for refugee travel document for my niece and the man on charge whose name is ZYAD DIN for Oath did very unprofessional and silly job on her papers. He wrote wrong sequence of name on the back of one of the photos which does not match with the really name on the identification cards which really would make the application return back to applicant on identity confusion and the worst thing he did is he did not let her to sign on the lie of guarantor which the professional only knows where I should sign. I paid money for professional work, not his silly job. Although the services there with MIKE and the secretary is awesome but with DIN DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. According what I have seen he is so careless and insisting you for double checking after his silly job,as a result I killed my time to fix it and spent extra money to take another photo, even he did not try to give me credit for his fault. Thank you

My documents that I had notarized here got rejected at the courthouse. Had to get them emergency notarized somewhere else. No refund either because I wasn’t able to come back and get them redone at the same location. If I could give less than 1 star I would.

Top Notary Public Services Alternatives in Fort Saskatchewan

A notary public (a.k.a. notary or public notary; pl. notaries public) of the common law is a public officer constituted by law to serve the public in non-contentious matters usually concerned with general financial transactions, estates, deeds, powers-of-attorney, and foreign and international business. A notary's main functions are to validate the signature of a person (for purposes of signing a document); administer oaths and affirmations; take affidavits and statutory declarations, including from witnesses; authenticate the execution of certain classes of documents; take acknowledgments (e.g., of deeds and other conveyances); provide notice of foreign drafts; provide exemplifications and notarial copies; and, to perform certain other official acts depending on the jurisdiction. Such transactions are known as notarial acts, or more commonly, notarizations. The term notary public only refers to common-law notaries and should not be confused with civil-law notaries. With the exceptions of Louisiana, Puerto Rico, Quebec (whose private law is based on civil law), and British Columbia (whose notarial tradition stems from scrivener notary practice), a notary public in the rest of the United States and most of Canada has powers that are far more limited than those of civil-law or other common-law notaries, both of whom are qualified lawyers admitted to the bar: such notaries may be referred to as notaries-at-law or lawyer notaries. Therefore, at common law, notarial service is distinctly different from the practice of law, and giving legal advice and preparing legal instruments is forbidden to lay notaries such as those appointed throughout most of the United States. Despite these distinctions, lawyers in the United States may apply to become notaries, and this class of notary is allowed to provide legal advice, such as determining the type of act required (affidavit, acknowledgment, etc.).
