Not satisfied with tbeir service. What kind of agency does not take passport info. Had to pay 1000.00 more fpr my son to come ba k to Montreal because passport expired in three months. For one day more had to pay another flight back. If they took the passport info we would have a flag our flight for return would of been thw day before to avpid all these problems at the airport.

I called to get information on the return protocol when returning from a trip to the south to find out how it works in Montreal when returning for tests and quarantine… my response was that ‘We had no time to waste answering my questions since I didn’t have a file with them!!! I told him that it’s normal that I hadn’t yet booked my trip because I wanted to be on the return protocol before being booked!! And she told me the same thing that she had no time to waste with me since I didn’t have a file!!! So rest assured that I will NEVER book with this agency with customer service like this

Very disappointed with our first (and last) experience with a travel agency. This was our very first group trip (16 people) and we chose to do business with an agency to facilitate the process. Error!

No return call, return email 2 to 3 weeks later (if she responded), credit card transaction taken without authorization (apart from the deposit), ETC. In short, I do not recommend.

In the past, I have always been very supportive of purchasing a trip through an agency, going against the trend of planning it yourself on the internet. I advised all my friends and family to get advice and help choosing a great vacation abroad. And then comes the pandemic, and the post-pandemic. My expectations have dropped dramatically since the last trip to Spain last fall.

Being new to the area, I wanted to encourage a local intermediary. I imagine that the service we receive unfortunately depends a lot on who is assigned to our file. No way to stay with the person we had chosen on the website and who had already visited the desired country. By making an appointment, you are assigned to the agent who is least busy or in demand and this often results in the least experienced or least willing to help or who does not know the destination. Too bad, so sad.

When you are told . Hiiii….that’s hard. Yes I always do my homework before the meeting and I went online to get my information, but I thought I would get added value or something extra. We simply want to get a second opinion from a specialist before making the final decisions on a trip which is still quite expensive. I understand that we are in a post-pandemic and staff shortage, but when you operate an agency, if you can no longer serve your clients properly, you have to take on fewer new ones and be transparent about what you can offer. or not. That’s all.

On the positive side, the choice of hotels was quite judicious and well located. Plane tickets were more expensive than the competitors at that time, but that’s okay. The car rental company chosen in Spain by the agent was very expensive in indirect costs, given that the application was poorly completed.

So for the next trips, due to our bad experience at Albatros Voyages, we will plan our next trip ourselves via the Internet and come what may, we will only have ourselves to blame for our choices. It’s just a shame it’s come to this.

In addition, no survey or contact from the agency to find out whether we appreciated their service or not. Unacceptable in 2023.

    Adios and Goodbye.

A travel agency where it is good to introduce yourself in person because the agents, although exhausted by the upsurge of recent times (people want to leave yesterday) are always smiling and kind, very attentive and let’s say it, in the juice ! In short, a very pleasant experience and outstanding customer service! I loved my journey from A to Z Thank you and see you next time for sure!

We did business with an agency to get the best advice and choose our package carefully instead of going directly on the internet. Unfortunately, we were poorly advised. Our main criterion was a beautiful beach and we found ourselves in a place where the beach is practically unswimmable, lots of rocks, no way to take a step. We wanted a place for a nice couple’s trip without children and we ended up in an extremely family-friendly resort. We called from there for help changing places and let’s say the response was less than cordial.

Since 2020, we are all aware that things have changed. The travel industry has taken a big hit. We often talk about restaurants, cinemas…but we forget those who help us make our travel dreams come true.

I challenge anyone who thinks it’s a simple and easy job to spend a day in a travel agency!! The employees at Club Voyages do an exceptional job. Yes, they have to manage priorities and cannot respond quickly to all requests. But know that you will always have unparalleled service, even if they are short-staffed.

Let’s support our travel agencies ✈️✈️🎆

Top Travel Agent Alternatives in Joliette

A travel agency is a private retailer or public service that provides travel and tourism-related services to the general public on behalf of accommodation or travel suppliers to offer different kinds of travelling packages for each destination. Travel agencies can provide outdoor recreation, arranging logistics for luggage and medical items delivery for travellers upon request, public transport timetables, car rentals, and bureau de change services. Travel agencies can also serve as general sales agents for airlines that do not have offices in a specific region. A travel agency's main function is to act as an agent, selling travel products and services on behalf of a supplier. They are also called Travel Advisors. They do not keep inventory in-hand unless they have pre-booked hotel rooms or cabins on a cruise ship for a group travel event such as a wedding, honeymoon, or other group event.
