  I booked an appointment with a travel agent at the Oshawa location online. When I showed up, I was told that the agent wasn’t working and was asked what did I want to do? I said book a vacation. I was told to make an appointment during the week, which isn’t possible since I work. Also, I don’t trust the appointment booking system. It was a waste of my time and a huge disappointment not to be able to book my vacation. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. The reason for 2 stars is the usual excellent service when purchasing insurance. Don’t use CAA for travel planning.

  Went in for an international license , took hardly 10 mins , and you can take a photo there at 19.99 or from outside at your convenience. Need your license valid, at least for a year, so they can give the valid international license for an year ,max you can get is 1 year. There is no need to fill out any forms, go to the counter, and apply. The people work here are helpful

  It was quiet, sunrise was a scene to witness, warm and cozy, nice little station with a sitting area on the first floor. Good seating arrangements, for the washroom you have to walk to the other building though. Display boards aptly stationed. Room elevators. No coffee or breakfast near by.

  Hardly write a negative review. But my Mum had the worst experience any customer can possibly have today with Via Rail.

  The fact that a senior or even anyone is not allowed to pay for any extra luggage (even if it’s 10kg), unless you MUST “upgrade” your ticket to “business class” and pay about $300 ticket difference.

  Personally I think the so-called New Baggage Policy is harsh & predatory.

  Via rail can do better.

  Loved my first business class experience. All staff contacts were so friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to ride the rails again. Trip was Oshawa to Ottawa return. The business lounge in Ottawa was a great place to pass the time. So relaxing.
