No issues with the bus service or staff they’re good, however the toilet doors are full of graffiti and it gives you an impression of a dirty, abandoned and dangerous place. I give them 5 stars due to the hard work of dealing with the public. The terminal itself deserves a better conservation.

It is the best option when you travel between Toronto Thunder Bay. Tickets are available and with fair price. I paid $167 from Marathon to Union station plus $15 for an extra bag. Spacious seats and warm in winter.

Great transit location to catch intercity buses. They dont have restaurants and eatery but self service kiosk so food are limited. The guides inside the terminal at 407 are fantastic people. They can offer help till you drop.

I was happy with CAA Auto Insurance until I got t-boned by a poor driver January 2nd & learned how uncommunicative CAA Adjuster staff are. Their secretarial person (Ralf) led me astray for over a week about having my car towed to Collision Centre (so I couldn’t file police report – which he insisted didn’tneed to be done). Then, 2 weeks ago, he referred me to the actual adjuster who has yet to contact me or return my phone messages, so I am not certain if my car is fixable. Meantime, even Ralf does not answer my voice-mail messages & my car rental allotment ran out Friday. I am now completely disgusted & have contacted a lawyer

I tried calling the local office several times to no avail. All I had, was one question, and, I was continuously put in a queue with a call centre.

I must retract my negative review of C.A.A Sudbury. I received a follow up from Debbie of the local office. She graciously rectified my issue. In doing so she demonstrated that I can still rely on C.A.A. Thank you Debbie.Much appreciated.

Had a flat tire and Paul came today change it to my spare this morning. Not only did he do a great job but he patiently answered all of my questions and showed me how to use my own tools to change a flat (I wanted to learn how). Paul is amazing and I’m so grateful for the extra time he spent teaching while doing his own work. 10/10 service!

The customer service here sucks! Walked in and waited forever to even be acknowledged. One actual travel agent on duty who was busy and no one else working there could help us. We were looking for some info on booking a family trip. No pamphlets, no info given, just dirty looks and poor customer service. They don’t want your business! You’re better off booking with Costco travel or doing what we did: went home and booked it ourselves and saved money! Their loss!

A travel agency is a private retailer or public service that provides travel and tourism-related services to the general public on behalf of accommodation or travel suppliers to offer different kinds of travelling packages for each destination. Travel agencies can provide outdoor recreation, arranging logistics for luggage and medical items delivery for travellers upon request, public transport timetables, car rentals, and bureau de change services. Travel agencies can also serve as general sales agents for airlines that do not have offices in a specific region. A travel agency's main function is to act as an agent, selling travel products and services on behalf of a supplier. They are also called Travel Advisors. They do not keep inventory in-hand unless they have pre-booked hotel rooms or cabins on a cruise ship for a group travel event such as a wedding, honeymoon, or other group event.

The Biggest Travel Agent in Canada

Sudbury, located in Ontario, Canada, is a popular tourist destination known for its stunning landscapes and vibrant culture. While travel agents have traditionally been the go-to option for planning trips, there are now several alternatives that offer convenience, affordability, and personalized experiences. Here are three top alternatives to travel agents in Sudbury:

  • Online Travel Agencies (OTA): Online platforms like Expedia, Booking.com, and Kayak have become extremely popular among travelers due to their user-friendly interfaces, extensive search options, and competitive prices. These OTAs offer a wide range of accommodations, flights, and car rentals, allowing travelers to book everything they need for their trip in one place. Additionally, many OTAs provide customer reviews and ratings, helping travelers make informed decisions about their bookings.
  • Airline Websites: For those who prefer to deal directly with airlines, airline websites are an excellent alternative to travel agents. Websites like Air Canada, WestJet, and Porter Airlines offer a seamless booking experience, allowing travelers to compare fares, select preferred seats, and add extras like travel insurance or extra baggage. Moreover, airline websites often provide exclusive deals and promotions, making it possible to save money on flights when booking directly.
  • Peer-to-peer Accommodation Platforms: Peer-to-peer accommodation platforms, such as Airbnb and Vrbo, have revolutionized the way people travel by offering unique and affordable lodging options. These platforms connect travelers with locals who rent out their homes, apartments, or spare rooms, providing a more authentic and immersive experience. Travelers can browse through a wide range of listings, read reviews, and communicate directly with hosts, making it easy to find accommodations that suit their preferences and budgets.

While travel agents may still be a preferred choice for some travelers, the rise of online travel agencies, airline websites, and peer-to-peer accommodation platforms in Sudbury has opened up new possibilities for planning trips with ease and flexibility. Whether you’re looking for the best deals on flights or seeking a unique place to stay, these alternatives have proven to be popular among tourists visiting Sudbury.
