  If I could give zero stars, I would. Unfortunately I am having an issue with communication. I have tried to call Tiffany 2 times this week, and emailed her – I haven’t hear anything and it seems they are trying to “point blame” to Sunwing when really it is an staff issue. This is not the only time my phone calls, and emails were not answered. When a costumer is trying to call regarding their upcoming trip, its important that we are called back it is basic customer service. The only way to talk to her is showing up, and sometimes that doesn’t work for me. Unfortunately, I will not be booking a trip with CAA Travel Thunder Bay again.

  UPDATE: I was assured that I would be taken care of by the manager Jo-Anne, however that is not the case. I sent an email on Friday August 25th and I haven’t gotten a response. The only way someone reaches out is if I go public with my concerns, which is extremely frustrating.

  I have been more than understanding of the ongoing technical/admin issues that you have been having – however as a paying customer about to drop about 6K, can you please explain to me why I am not getting a response?

  At this point I would like to get my deposit back – my requests to make a payment on my trip have not been answered, nor my questions around the trip, and others who want to join our party to spend more money are not being answered.

  If there was an issue with our trip – I would hate to see the lack of response taking place there. I am not comfortable nor do I feel safe having my family travel under your guidance, and responsibility – never mind the additional insurance for my trip or the health insurance.

  I went to CAA at noon to renew a membership and there was only one person working and a line up of 3 people. The staff person was serving a couple already, which seemed to take forever. Very poor service in my opinion.

  I rarely have to wait to be helped. I need to get an international driving permit. The photos were free (because I’m a CAA member) and taken right there. The permit was issued quickly. Now I am ready to drive around the world!!!

  We just returned from a wonderful vacation in Mexico. Our agent Patricia at Sell-Off Vacations in Thunder Bay helped us pick the perfect destination for our family.   Recently I was looking for a new Travel Agent for me and my fiancee. I am always looking at Sell Off Vacations web site, and thought I would try and give them a call regarding some questions I had. I was put on the phone with Patricia. She immediately jumped in to answer all my questions and we quickly made a positive connection on the phone. She was so friendly and personable. I had some very specific vacation requests, and wanted to make the vacation perfect for my new fiancee and myself, and out 5 year anniversary. She went above and beyond, talking to other agents, talking to the hotel, and making several phone calls to make sure everything was booked perfectly, and our vacation would be amazing.   Had the pleasure of booking my trip with Patricia D. Unfortunately due to scheduling conflicts I had to change the date of my trip. It was very easy to work with Patricia in getting the necessary changes and she was very patient in dealing with me.

  *!!HORRIBLE!!* customer experience with Debbie. I sat down looking for some information and ways they could assist me with my travels this summer. Debbie immediately began grilling me for hard details, stared me down and acted exasperated when I couldn’t immediately give her the answers she wanted. This experience was full of micro aggressions meant to belittle me as the customer from beginning to end. I told her I didn’t feel good talking with her and sought to leave. She then implied I couldn’t afford anything “expensive” although hadn’t even disclosed my budget. The drive across town was not worth being treated this way.
