  4. This place was absolutely PHENOMENAL! Didn’t try to up charge me which has made me a loyal customer coming to this location. Customer service was amazing!!! Not pushing multiple devices or upcharging has earned this store a lifetime customer!!

  5. What a bizarre place. First, despite the giant “Verizon” sign, this is an authorized Verizon retailer called “Cellular Sales.” This is not made clear in their outside signage and only in small letters in their signage inside. My phone had died, so I came here to upgrade my iPhone to the newest model. I was not aware that this was an authorized retailer at the time. I tell the employee exactly what I am looking for, and he asks if I would consider an Android since they’re “basically the same now.” I say no. Then, he pulls up my plan and tries to get me to upgrade the phones of the others on my account. I tell him no, since they’re not even in the same city and have no input on this. He then tells me that he cannot upgrade my phone unless I also upgrade my plan, which would be significantly more costly each month. By now, I’m suspicious and notice the “Cellular Sales” signage behind him.

    I left and went to the actual Verizon store on Shiloh; where I was immediately assisted with getting a new iPhone and did NOT have to upgrade my entire plan to do so.

    Avoid this place.

    Very bad experience with Verizon setting up a replacement gizmo for my kids. The activation did not go through and had problems in the app / gizmo. Had to go back to the store and spent an hour getting it fixed. It took trying over and over and while the manager was helpful and kind, he was unable to credit the $35 fee for activating the device even though the activation was incredibly painful and ended up costing a few hours of our day. He gave me a number to call to try to get it credited but did not have the ability to credit it at the store. I’m sure this is by design from Verizon to boost profits but I’ll trade them a one star for it. The manager knew the experience was bad for me but had no ability to make it right. I don’t have cell service with Verizon for reasons like this. Now I get to wait on hold and try to relay the whole situation to a new person. Already been a 20 minute phone call and already had them tell me they can’t refund me multiple times.

    Aaron was a huge help! So much less painful – to get a new phone- it was a pleasant experience that didn’t take too long either! 😉 I ha e been a Verizon customer since 1994 & I began with the huge bag phone, loved the Motorola Star-tac (still my favorite) Went through 2 Flip3 phones, wishing they would just go ahead a DIVIDE the full screen into two that work together! It would be so much less trouble- than having the screen blowout from too many “open & closes” I loved everything about the Flip3 & had hoped the Flip4 solved the screen issues – but…. no. Not yet!

    I thought my phone was totally dead. Lamar was so knowledgeable and helpful! He saved me a lot of money by knowing exactly what was wrong with my old phone and advising me on the trade in and plan options. I came away with a newer phone and a lower bill with better coverage! He’s the definition of an excellent verizon tech!

    Verizon is the worst company out, they will Rob you, make sure you get things in writing. They say that they have no supervisor:(, and they don’t care if a sale person robs you at all!!! I would never refer them to my enemy. T-mobile or AT&T is where it is. I’m a business owner, and they almost interrupt my business!! Not good so please take my word, get it in writing or go somewhere else.

    This is by far the best Verizon store that I have ever been in. The employees are amazing, especially Billy and the lady that was training him. I think she might be a manager. There was no wait time and they both were very knowledgeable. The store was clean and smelled great too. I will definitely do future business there and will refer customers and new customers there.     I came in knowing exactly what I wanted, which can be half the battle. However, Cheyenne helped me make the swap from Android to Iphone seemlessly. She was fun, engaged, interested; professional, personable, and polite. She laid out the plan options very well and knew her products. She is an asset to the store!

    I have been here often and liked the majority of the workers over the years. Today, I showed up thirty minutes before closing and not to just pay a bill. I was in a pinch and needed to add a line and get a phone, which as anyone knows can be a process. The girl working was as nice as anyone could ask for even though it’s about time to close. She took the time to help me find a phone and plan for a good price and best for my situation. By the time it was all said and done, she found a good deal for me, showed me all the available accessories, and answered my questions (there were a lot) all while maintaining good spirits and never seeming to be in a hurry to push me out the door and close down shop for the night even though it was past closing by the time it was all said and done! I have and will continue to use this place for years to come because they always take the time to hear and help me out unlike other providers I have used in the past.
