  1. I was just in the store and spoke with (Ashleigh). She was of no assistance at all! I wasn’t even greeted when I walked into the store. She was not friendly and seemed to be very lazy in her demeanor. She is definitely not a people person and needs to be taught better customer service skills.

  2. Only go to this store if you want to be the victim of predatory sales practices. The person working there lied to my face to deter me from ordering something online myself just so she could charge me a $35 setup fee for a watch that was so simple to set up that a monkey could have done it.

    ***BEST VERIZON STORE I’VE EVER BEEN TO*** Bill took excellent care of me and everyone else in the store. I watched him take care of an older gentleman whose phone had been stolen and several others. He knows his stuff, exhibits strong professionalism, and has an excellent attention to detail. Attention corporate VERIZON: Groom this man for senior management. You would be foolish not to take advantage of one of your internal superstars.

    Showed up to this Verizon on 6/7/23 at 5 pm. There was a sign on the door stating they were on break and would be back at 5:45. I understand needing to close due to short staffing and giving breaks, however I left the store at 6 pm because no one had returned from break. I would not recommend going to this location.

    I’ve been coming to this location for years now. Even though I now live in Hampton, I still come to this store because they have top-teir reps that get the most for you. I became a regular after dealing with Billy several years ago, but today Michael King went above and beyond what he had to do. And this was a service problem, not a sale, so no commission or incentive. Will continue to come here as long as the reps remain top of the line.

    We are at the 725 Little Creek Rd. location and have just experienced the most bizarrely rude sales associate ever. When we entered, before the door had even closed, the associate said “We dont take those here.” We had come to drop off Fios equipment and didnt realize we were in the wrong place. I said, “Well, a hello or a greeting first would be nice before you start telling me what you can and cannot do.” He replied, “Hello, we dont take those here. Have a good day.” I asked if he knew where we needed to go and he said, “No, have a nice day,” and turned his back and walked away. When pressed for his employee information so we could make a complaint to management, he said it was “Bill” and that was all he would say. He left the store floor and we stepped out, feeling totally discriminated against, dismissed, and almost attacked. At this point, my colleague went back in. She asked for his employee number or last name, which he refused to give and when she asked for a GM’s name, he claimed he was the GM and told her again to have a nice day and returned to the back of the store. So in summary, we got no greeting, no employee name or supervisor to discuss our issue, and no information about where to take our Verizon equipment. What we got for our error was another encounter in America of a Black man being treated by a white man like he was the problem, like he was in the wrong place, and that his issue didn’t matter to the company at large. In the year 2023 we need companies to hear us when we say that we Black Americans are still being made to feel like an inconvenience by people we go to for help. We are disgusted and will be taking this issue to the highest level possible to prevent “Bill” from spewing his nastiness to other people…especially People of Color.

    Went to buy a new charger for my phone. It was old but I did not want to purchase a new phone at my age but after looking half a minute, the rep, told me there was not one at the store and he did not offer an alternative, except to buy another phone He seemed more pre occupied with his phone than what I needed I left and went to walmart and got a similar one to use, it works just fine

    My family and I had a great experience here. Our sales rep was very patient with my folks so my mom could upgrade her phone that fit her needs perfectly. The rep also helped us understand our bill and what my sibling could do to minimize data usage. The rep was friendly, personable, and made sure my folks felt 100% comfortable before making their final decisions. Shoutout to Tim who was the one that helped us. Definitely recommend this store of you ever need it.

    Terrible experience here. I got a new phone, had clear case put on. When I got to my car I realized there was already dirt trapped inside so I went in to get help getting the case cleaned off. I did this before I even drove off. As soon as I walked in the associate that helped me walked to the break room. With the new plan I selected, had some add ones like espn plus. I asked for help setting these up, the associate said they were too busy… Highly recommend staying away from this store!

    Pretty sure that Joshua may have capitalized on what not to do in the customer service industry. Not only did he seem impaired during our THREE hour interaction, he tried to sell us the wrong case three separate times. I had to spend the next morning on the phone with Verizon for an hour getting my family on the correct plan, getting international calling, and addressing our concerns about Joshua. VZW customer service was top notch, however. I will NEVER go back to this location. It is beyond embarrassing that this is who they employ to represent their company and their brand.

    I don’t think it was intentional, but nonetheless I was misled by Frederic because I was not given all the necessary information required to make an informed decision. He neglected to inform me that if I purchased my new phone third party and not specifically from them or apple that I would not be eligible for the upgrade promotion. He mentioned I “could” buy it from apple but it was not made clear that it HAD to be apple to get the upgrade promo. As far as I knew I thought he was just using apple as an example of where I could buy it. I even double checked that “if I bring in my own phone I can get the upgrade promo” and he said yes which was apparently only half true. When I told him that next time he should give customers all the information his response was that “he’s not a mind reader.” Somehow it always seems that you can never get the deal you’re offered from Verizon. Either “the promo changed” or you’re not properly informed. Convenient.
