  1. This is a great local hardware store. They are well supplied with any do-it-yourself need. The staff is fantastic you can find them everywhere in the store and they are all willing to help you with whatever you need. Stopped in to refill some propane tanks, they had my tanks filled and me ready to go in a matter of minutes. Inside you will find a great selection of all kinds of hardware items and miscellaneous local items from various vendors. They also have an excellent selection of grill equipment and repair parts.

  2. Incredibly friendly staff who were more than willing to help me find the items I was looking for. This is definitely the spot to go in Mandeville if you’re looking for tools or similar products. They also have a propane refill service if I remember correctly and sell plenty of pellet grill pellets.

  3. New guy didn’t know cleaning vinegar – gave my youngster salad vinegar. Amazon had a full variety and delivery free next day ! Experience is the only benefit ACE HARDWARE offers !

    I visit Robert Road ACE at least twice a week ( and sometimes 3 times in a day if I’m stuck on a project!) and I love this place! I am always greeted at the door by a friendly face asking me what I need, and they always stick with me until I find what I need and/or my problem is solved. I do a lot of gardening and am always working on an outdoor project, and it never fails, someone on the staff will help me figure out the best way to do the job or solve the problem. I needed to build a makeshift greenhouse over one of my raised beds and Jerry took the time to figure out how many pieces of pvc pipe I needed, how long each piece needed to be, and the best way to fasten it all together. It worked out perfectly! The staff are so knowledgeable and friendly, and often take the time to help me figure something out even if it doesn’t require that I buy something there. That’s how you know they genuinely want to help. My grandpa owned one of the first stores in Slidell way back in the day, which eventually became Mire’s Hardware. When I am in Robert Road ACE, I feel like I have stepped back into the past, when people really cared and took the time to help, like it was in my grandpa’s store. Robert Road ACE is a one-of-a-kind place!

    There is no better service you can get than that at Ace Hardware on Robert Blvd. This is not based upon a single visit but on multiple visits over 30+ years. I will continue to support and purchase from this store regardless of any small price differences between Ace and the big box stores because the service is just that good.

    In August I had a pretty big boiling job. I brought in my two propane tanks. I had been here several times to get my tanks filled. On this particular day I didn’t recognize the kid who filled my tanks. I got to the customer site,setup and I couldn’t figure out why my propane line kept freezing up. I was unable to complete the job and out of two grand. I called in several times that same day and know one had a clue of what was going on. Come to find out both tanks where over filled. Please train these kids better. Update Yes it did take me 4 months to send this but I bought new tanks and finally had some to figure out what was wrong. I have been to your store 10 times or more. This was just a very bad day for me in business and my name and I wanted some one to know about it.
