- Reviews:I showed up 10 minutes before closing, hoping to pick up my food. I was met with confused faces and being told I did not make an order. Little did I know, my order never went through on the web as I didn’t full process it. The 5 star comes from being told “No problem, we will make whatever you want”. Customer care is a lost art, and as someone who deals with the public, I was floored at how quickly they were eager to make up for MY mistake. They have about 8 tables for sit down dining and also do a good amount of take out and Door-dash orders. Nice selection on their menu.I should have taken a picture to share but I was hoping for a to-go menu that I would have posted. Our server said that they are being reprinted with some new selections to try. By the way, the servers are very nice. We started our meal with their Hot & Sour Soup. I really liked it. The soup was a little thicker than others I have tried but had a really nice flavor and just the right amount of heat. It could be a meal for a person if they just wanted soup. It was full of flavor and hearty. We all ordered their combination meal. This allows a person to choose 2 items and comes with Fried Rice (Steamed Rice if you want) along with Chow Mein. The entree selections range from things like Sweet & Sour Chicken or Pork, Lemon Chicken, Mongolian Beef (Chicken), Beef(Chicken) & Broccoli as examples (to many to list). Nice sized meal for sure. The place was very clean and smelled like fresh food was cooking. Im guessing he was the owner but he was very helpful and nice. Reminded me of the old days. Food was great. Didn’t taste old, greasy or bad. It tastes fresh and great. This is now my to go spot!!!! Thank you kitty kitchen for the great experience. We both thought it’d have more than 2 shrimp conveniently placed directly right on top when you open the container. Size of plates/amount of food is not consistent. We received more this time than when we returned for a second time. Chow mein is definitely better the next day. My husband and daughter both said it looked like spaghetti noodles. Chow mein does not have a lot of vegetables at all. I’d like more cabbage and bean sprouts honestly don’t remember tasting any at all. Rice was ok could have more bbq pork. Ordered beef broccoli and the square where it comes was 90% broccoli and only 10% beef, not enough beef. When I purchased Mongolian beef it was again mostly only bell pepper, onion, and carrots, very little beef. I don’t really eat at Panda Express but I craved this for some random reason. So I went to panda in Manteca and to be honest I had a great experience. The food was so very delicious and the employees are pretty cool. I like their patience and energy. Good food good vibes for sure! If you go to panda go to this one . The manager Juan has a great team.
So their food has gone downhill. We ordered on the website a catering order. We told them we would pick up at 12 but we got a text saying the rider was ready for pickup. It was about 1130 or so. When we get there they told us we had to wait because it wasn’t ready. We told them we hit a notification that it was ready for pickup. They td us that they don’t send out notifications or text messages. They got our order ready but they just seemed bothered that we showed up early. The food was not great either. The location was very clean though.
I like food, but I always feel the portions are too small and some selections are $1-$2 more. The prices should be the same for all entrées. I didn’t necessarily liked this location’s parking, as it is limited and hard to go in and out, it’s like a dead-end corner.
the employees that work in the front and the window stand around and chit chat! I was told my teriyaki chicken would be about 10 15 min. well the chicken came out and I just waited to see who was going to finish my order….yeap they kept talking and getting food for the drive through and yet only one person was on the inside at least 5 employees talking cooks are amazing they were working their butts off! finally after 10 min the young lady that took my order told another female employee to ginish my order! for the price you pay I got 3 pieces of broccoli and 3 pieces of beef lol…clean on the inside but too much chatting especially when your waiting for hot food.
I don’t like the smell of the food. I don’t think they cooked it correctly. It’s so processed.
