1. I went to Target to pick up an order that my brother placed online. This was the last day (12/18/22) that the order could be retrieved. However, the sales associate, Sherik, could not locate the item. There were a few other complications that I would omit that had nothing to do with the staff. In the end, I waited just over an hour to walk out with one item… my brother ordered three. I want to thank Sherik for his tireless efforts to assist me with my mission. The take away is this: don’t wait until the last day to pick up your online order as the item may be returned to floor inventory, as was the case here.

2. I have never really had a problem with the Target there. Although, one of the female Security guard’s has a real nasty attitude. I am not someone who likes to go to the Manager most of the time cause you may have to wait awhile, but I did. All of the other Security guard’s were friendly as ever, but the female one who covered the self check out line needs to be spoken to on how to act appropriately.

3. Well we know Target is a 1 stop shop for just about anything you need and this location isn’t any different. However, I dislike that they have recently locked up almost all of their products in glass cages. You can’t even get a bar of soap without waiting on an employee to open the cage for you. Unfortunately, this is just another example of corporate offices displaying a distrust in black and brown communities and implying these communities are full of criminals. This is not a practice in all NYC Target locations however this target location has decided to adopt this disgraceful practice.

4. I had a floor supervisor/manager follow/stalk me from the checkout register to the customer service counter (this was during a busy Sunday afternoon), I did not agree with the floor supervisor/manager when she told me that I was not able to price match a product that I had purchased on numerous occasions at this Target location. I have price matched every time I ever showed the target team member my purchase history on the Target app and all she could say was that the team members that sold me said product at the prices matched value was wrong and they will all get in trouble for that. It was not my business how or when Target reprimands their employees so that comment was extremely unprofessional. She stormed away and as the customer service rep was processing my price match he required her assistance and he called out to her in the radio and she did not respond he called out several times and she never responded or returned as I stand at the customer service counter waiting. I was only able to finally checkout thanks to I guess another floor supervisor/manager whom processed my price match and got me out of there. My unnecessary experience started at 3:08pm and didn’t finish till 3:20pm. This is becoming to common at this location the floor supervisor/managers are very snarky and a lil nasty if you don’t agree with them or challenge them. Not a very professional environment. They make up rules like during Xmas they claim them don’t price match during the Holidays. Or how bout this one we only price match up to five items. If you challenge them they get nasty.

5. Never really had a problem with the target itself so this review is for the Starbucks inside it. By far the worst Starbucks I’ve ever been to. The employees today were rude and too busy having a conversation with each other and when one finally acknowledged me and I ordered they gave looks that made me uncomfortable. I’ve only ever experienced one nice employee but that didn’t matter because everything is always out of stock. The most you’ll get there is a water. Close it down 👎
