  2. I came to check out plants and soils ect for houseplants / cacti. They carry happy frog, fox farms, e.b. Stone to name a few. A whole wall of individual bags of soil amendments such as earthworm castings and pumice which I bought. They had a selection of house plants that I did feel to be a bit overpriced. They had a ton of employees working.

  3. My most favorite hardware store ever! If Emigh doesn’t have it, they will get it for you. The garden section is tops! Camping central. BBQ Central. Need a tool? They have a few, lol. You can find a gift for anyone here. I try to just buy what I went in for but things seem to find their way into my bag. Customer service rules the day at Emigh.

  4. I had a beautiful lamp of my mother’s who passed on in October of 22. As I was trying to replace the switch, I went crazy and unscrewed things that I didn’t know how to put back together. So I only knew of one place that had the knowledge/patience to help me. I went to ACE Hardware on El Camino in Sacramento, that’s where I found the store manager name Craig who gave me excellent customer service! He tested the lamp plug first and then he proceeded with getting the lamp back together and making sure that the lighting worked properly! This was a huge emotional moment for me as it brings tears to my eyes because I wanted to say to my mom, look it’s working again! Craig, I’d like to say thank you a million times…I appreciate all that you did and thank you to your staff that’s helped me in the past. Please keep up the good work, you guys are amazing!!!

  5. I went to Emigh Ace Hardware in search of a teeny tiny plumbing doo-dad. I searched up and down the aisles then asked an employee who directed me to it. This is such a well-stocked store, thank you! Your employees are also very, very nice 🙂

    I made a comment to a staff member that this was the best Ace Hardware Store I’ve ever been in. He said oh no there are some bigger stores that have outdoor furniture and whatnot, but we just don’t have the room. Okay so they don’t have any outdoor furniture. The rest of the store I’m quite happy with. Visiting Sacramento again after 3 years. This is still a great store!

    Yesterday I was in the store, I bought Rose glitter to which the lid wasn’t tight and it spilled all over the place. I never got to use it so I called them up asked to exchange for different one because I didn’t get to use it. There’s a crunch we will not exchange the item. And why was inside the store yesterday they followed me around as if I was a thief. This really upset me but I understand there’s a lot of thievery going on nowadays. Still you think they would be a little less obvious about it and that’s rude this is supposed to be a family-oriented store well I do not get that impression whatsoever because a family-oriented store where to exchange my $9 stain and not treating me like a thief and kept asking me can we help you can we help you can we help you . I spent $20 and it’ll be my last $20 I spend at this store. I personally think they need a lil customer service classes

    I arrived at 6:01 to pick up a web order and even though an employee was in the store and could have grabbed my paint order (1 can), he had an attitude and acted like I wanted to shop for an hour lol. The East Sac store is better, friendlier and not as grimy.

    Love this spot! This is your good ‘ol fashion neighborhood hardware store. Staff is always friendly and helpful…. and, you can get all the old throw-candies and artisan sodas there…. even delicious gourmet carmels. Support this location.
