  1. Everyone here is friendly and kind. Staff and residents are always happy. Very professional staff. Very clean faculty. I love visiting!

  2. On the surface this place looks great. They have a great facility and do a wonderful job with seniors who are aging. The food is great as well. The problem begins once that individual dies. They hold the beneficiaries of owners hostage after the loved one passes. Little to no options exist for finally selling the ownership. They control your options for marketing your unit. At the end of our rope we are in a position to actually pay to get out of our unit. Receiving $0 for the unit. Let that number sink in…$0. A huge dent to the estate. This is the worst possible senior living to move to if you care about your legacy. Look for other options if you want value in your ownership.

  3. it’s a beautiful place to work I’m going on 17 years there I love my job and I love what I do being able to help the elders for everything they have done and they continue to do it’s very fulfilling to me. God bless JR

  4. Ok, but overpriced and restrictive policiesfor what you get. They do have good food in their restaurant which just reopened. The grounds are nice.

    It is a place that is free from the smell of cigarettes, the apartments are comfortable and always have a nice atmosphere and many activities for the residents keeping them active and useful and they have lounge services for the residents and keep them beautiful, the staff are friendly and helpful Services

    We moved into Douglas Apartments a short time ago from out of state and sight unseen except for the internet and google earth pro. Pamala the Property Manager, Nicole the Leasing Manager and Lindsey her assistant have all gone out of their way to make us comfortable here. The apartment has been completely renovated. We were a little concerned about having to use a tub in the bathroom, but when we saw the apartment in person, it had a beautiful large shower in place of the tub. Matt the Director of Maintenance and Joe from Maintenance have answered every request immediately. The grounds are beautiful and the building is kept clean. One of the major reasons for choosing Douglas Apartments is the fact that it is for people over 55. The residents here are very friendly, and will help you whenever they can. We are very happy we moved back to Rhode Island, and Douglas Apartments is one of the main reasons we are.

    I lived in Douglas Apartments for one and half years and I only have good things to share about the place. You get to see enjoy the scenic beauty all throughout the year. The 24*7 maintenance, friendly staffs, responsive and caring people around me made my stay even more pleasant and memorable there! If you are looking for an apartment in North Providence, I would recommend Douglas Apartments as the go to place. I would like to thank Nicole McCreadie for taking care of all the paperwork I ever needed and also for accomodating all my requests always!!

    I lived here for three years and was really happy with my experience. The apartment was absolutely spotless when I moved in. Neighbors were quiet and friendly. Snow removal and landscaping were well taken care of. The park across the street is a beautiful place to walk, run, picnic, etc. Maintenance requests were resolved within 1-2 business days, sometimes even within the same day.

    Nothing can beat them. Their maintenance staff is simply awesome and helpful. Apartments are spacious, clean, accessible to public transportation. We are loved our stay at Douglas. Highly recommended 10/10.

    I lived at Douglas Commons for a year and a half and just recently moved out. They gave me my security deposit back but took out $250 without telling me! When Pam the property manager did the walk through she told me everything looked great and I would get my full return. Also, the rents are ridiculously expensive and the units are old and need updating! The lobby smells and the furniture is falling apart and stink like body odor. They don’t allow pets and no children under 18 are allowed to live there! Pam is very rude and has a lousy business personality! I would definitely search around before spending over $1000 a month to live there.
