What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. Everyone is friendly and helpful, they have a good wine selection, food is okay. The first time I ate there, I ordered whole wheat pasta, it wasn’t completely cooked and definitely came from a box. The gnocchi on my second trip was overcooked, but still pretty good.

  2. First time here & as expected in a lovely way. The server was a very kind and helpful young lady who helped me pick a sweet red wine that was picked perfectly to my liking. I believe it was called “lambrusco” red wine. I ordered the veal marsala and it was devine and delicious! Beautiful spread of food and ambiance and I also got steamed broccoli & a Ceasar salad as sides. Everything I ordered is pictured below…the Cesar in the picture has both their house and Cesar dressing on it which was a fabulous mixture. Thank you. I will be back to try the lamb and other dishes!

  3. We went for my mom’s birthday on a Saturday night. I definitely recommend making reservations. Our waiter was very nice. Great family restaurant atmosphere. When a waitress accidentally dropped a glass near our table, pieces of glass flew onto our table. Our waiter and the manager quickly cleaned off our table and brought us new water and appetizer. Now, about the food. It was just ok. The best was the fried zucchini. All of it looked good, but was bland, except for my sister’s steak. The steak was cooked to perfection, but was very salty. I would go back just to see if Saturday was an off night, but it wouldn’t be my first choice.

  4. Had a great dinner here tonight. The waitress was so friendly and organized. The food was fantastic. I had a 6 oz filet and a lobster tail. The lobster was so good I ordered a second one!! Before dinner I sat at the bar and had an ice cold IPA. #supportlocalbusiness

  5. This place was packed, but I did not have to wait to be seated. Water can out pretty fast. I was not sure what to order due to so many delicious options. My mouth was watering while reading the menu. When the food came out it was not as hot as I would have liked it but it’s was good.

THEE ITALIAN GREENS!!!!! THEY WERE SOOOOOOO GOOD!!!

We were seated and a waitress came & took our drink order, said our waitress will be with us shortly, we waited & waited, a waitress came finally, asked if we were ready, we said yes, she said ” you need more time, I’ll be back” & left. Another one finally came, we spent more time waiting, she forgot part of the order, when she finally brought it we were almost done with our meal. I inquired about the salad to go we ordered she said it was almost done. More waiting. When we got home this is what the salad looked like that they gave us (my daughter ate the strawberries), it was supposed to be a strawberry, walnut & grilled chicken salad with spinach greens. The chicken was barley cooked, definitely not grilled. I have never had such bad service or poor quality food before. Definitely won’t be going back there again.

My family and I decided to try out Perkins Restaurant for a friday brunch. It was a lovely experience, and I wanted to share our thoughts on the food and the overall experience. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, with a pleasant buzz of conversation. Our kids ended up choosing a delightful mix of bread toast, pancakes, bacon, and fries. The pancakes were fluffy and delicious, with a generous dollop of ice cream on top that the kids thoroughly enjoyed. The bacon was cooked to perfection, crispy and flavorful, while the fries were a nice, crispy accompaniment. For my meal, I opted for the quesadilla and waffle with ice cream on top, accompanied by bacon. The quesadilla was loaded with cheese, veggies, and chicken, making it a filling and scrumptious choice. The waffle was light and crispy, and the ice cream on top added a sweet, creamy touch that elevated the dish to new heights. The bacon, as mentioned earlier, was a fantastic side. My spouse decided to go for something on the healthier side and ordered a salad with honey mustard dressing. The salad was fresh and colorful, with an array of crisp veggies and a generous serving of the tangy and sweet honey mustard dressing. It was a refreshing and satisfying choice. Throughout the meal, the service was attentive and warm, ensuring our water glasses were always full and checking in on us periodically to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. In conclusion, our brunch experience at Perkins Restaurant was a delightful one. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was comfortable and family-friendly, and the service was exceptional. We will undoubtedly be returning for more family brunches in the future and highly recommend it to others looking for a great meal in a relaxed environment.

I can’t recall the name of my server but she was an older woman. Very friendly, attentive and hard-working. I ordered the hearty man’s combo and I’m glad to say that it was hot and fresh! Though the pancakes were not fresh as I could tell they were sitting out before my meal was done. best Perkins location I’ve been to yet and better than Bob Evans. Will definitely try to come once a week!

It was a slow start with several new servers and one head training them. She was our severe and was very patient throughout dinner. One table didn’t have a pleasant dinner, so I decided to pay it forward rather than them have a Terrible experience there. I hope that they found that small kindness well. 🫂♥️

Food is usually good. Nothing fancy. Service is hit or miss. Waited 20 minutes before drink order was taken. Went ahead and ordered not knowing when waitress would come back again. Another 35 minutes passed and waitress came back to advise that cooks didn’t know if they had any rice to complete order. She was going to check. Another 15 minutes passed and food arrived and amazingly rice was found. No apology for length of time for drinks and food.

Our server was so friendly so that was a plus. The women’s bathroom needed some attention big time. There was no soap. They just had sanitizer in the bathroom. I want you to look closely at my photo, do you notice anything that shouldn’t be in my salad? You probably don’t. I didn’t notice it myself until a few bites in. And then I found it an big grape stem. Clearly someone was not paying attention in the back when they were making the food. The avocado was not ripe at all. It was very hard. They gave me my salad for half price due to the grape stem being in my food. Their banana bread is really good.

Decided to give this place a try while on a trip to Youngstown and it’s surprisingly decent… the caramel macchiato was delicious! Food was good.. only “con” I have when it comes to the food is my egg wasn’t really cooked “over hard” it was more of an over medium and unfortunately, I could not eat it. Overall, the service was great.

Was traveling with family and was looking for brunch. First stopped at another popular family restaurant that was a stones throw away. Waited 15 minutes there and was getting agitated that we hadn’t even been acknowledged. Was looking out the window and saw our favorite, Bob Evans, just a few paces away and directly walked out and into a friendly atmosphere. Was greeted and seated promptly. Our server “Sandra” was very attentive, friendly and a breath of sunshine. She made sure our food was prepared properly, quickly and even sent us on our way with to go drinks. She was just what we needed! Thank you for being there!!

It’s Bob Evans so you know what you’re getting. I’m not a fan of breakfast food so that takes away many menu choices. I ordered soup and salad. Never got the soup. The cobb salad was not the best with dry chicken and tasteless dressing. Wasn’t my choice and never will be. We still had 4 hours to go on a 10-hour drive and there was this or Denny’s. I would have chosen Denny’s.
