  1. Three roller derby girls from Wisconsin enjoyed their stay! Very nice hotel in a safe location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Check out the indoor Farmer’s Market if you are looking for something to do. We had a nice weekend in Flint.

  2. Charged me $250 damage charge because my dog left a blood spot on the bedding. Plus they charged me $75 each for my dogs. So my $140 room was over $550 for one night. And the lady was rude as hell when I called to ask what damages there were. Apparently they also assess damage fees to women who have the misfortune of spotting the bedding with their menstrual cycle according to other reviews. Horrible people. Horrible staff and apparently horrible owners. Nice facility. Avoid it at all costs.

  3. Generally stay here when we come to visit family. This time was so differnt and we will never stay again. First I paid with a different card on arrival than the one used for reservarion( done this many times) then they tried to hit the other card not once not twice but 3 times and this was even after talking to a manager after the first time. Thank god the card was locked as they already had payment from the card I used at check in.Then bought a super over priced pizza from there little shop which ok I expected the price what i did not expect was the fact that they sold something that had no microwave option only oven..the room dont have a oven.then after checking out they called me wanting to know wjat card to cjarge the room too..umm its already been paid for.

  4. WONDERFUL service. Checked in at 10:30ish at night & the wonderful manager that was on duty was back again by 8:30am the following morning. Very pleasant to work with. Our room had an issue with the door/lock & she personally came to the room to look at it to make the situation right! The lady working very hard this morning to keep up with everyone’s demands in the breakfast area, was phenomenal. The service workers often are forgotten they really are what makes the hotel run! After leaving breakfast a worker with clean towels/sheets was going to give up their spot waiting for the elevator so that we may go in front of him and was going to wait. We gave absolutely no issues sharing the elevator with those here working & supporting themselves, so we told him to get on there with us, there was no need for him to get behind in his work. Absolutely fantastic consideration from every employee we have encountered thus far. We tipped the woman keeping breakfast going and hope that others take in all her solo hard work and do so as well! Exceptional employees and stay! After leaving a poor review on a different hotel chain the day prior, this hotel more than made up for the upset I was left with on our little traveling vacation!

  5. Nice update HIE, good rates too. Location was not great as there was nothing in the area to walk to eat or be able to walk around. Obviously it’s good for the campus area if you are visiting the schools in the area. Getting in and out of the parking lot can get you turned around from where yow want to go. Breakfast is typical HIE fare, and staff was okay. Slept good.

    Knob hill bed and breakfast in Flint Michigan, is a 5 star experience. From the grounds to inside with the lovely rooms and the amazing breakfast in the morning is a treat everyone should take time to experience.

    Found this place searching airbnb because we needed a place to host 9 people and 2 dogs. It was the only place in the area that could accommodate our large group with dogs, other than a hotel. Booked directly with Diana not airbnb. She was very pleasant and a tremendous host. We booked 5 of the 6 rooms and all were very nice! I absolutely loved this place! I highly recommend this place especially if you’re visiting Frankenmuth since it’s not far from there. Also, reasonably priced. Thanks again Diana!

    Gorgeous BnB with a beautiful decor!! Especially loved the game room where I enjoyed an evening of Yahtzee with my nieces and nephews!! Amenities were abundant which is a huge plus! Only suggestion I would make would be to have more breakfast options (I love breakfast foods!!!!)

    Booked months ahead of time *directly* with the host over the phone, not via Airbnb or their website. I was told the entire BnB was open and could have my pick of rooms. Booked over half the BnB and even provided credit card info over the phone. Host unprofessionally cancelled our *wedding* party’s reservation less than 2 months before the event. Host cannot be trusted to handle your large group because there might be a “glitch” and she will cancel on you without a clear reason why. Sometimes I read bad reviews and think “this person is overreacting.” I promise you this is not an exaggeration of events.

    EDIT in response: I’m sorry Diana, but when you cancel a reservation there is going to be a bad review. I have seen the establishment listed on Airbnb in the past, but can see it is no longer listed so I’m sorry for insinuating it was also listed there. Ultimately, I do not trust a host that cancels a wedding reservation so close to the event. You also never responded to me after saying you would try to work something out, leaving me waiting on a text that would not come. I am not a vindictive person, I am merely sharing my experience with your business. Considering there were 7 individuals who had to find alternative accommodation for the wedding, I think only one 1-star review is more than fair. My partner posted his without speaking to me and it has been deleted.

    Anyone reading this who questions my integrity, please read my other google reviews. I am a local guide and regularly review establishments. You can use my track record to decide for yourself whether my review can be trusted. I will not hurl insults at the host, besides to say the way this situation was handled was unprofessional and very disappointing. I’m glad to see so many others have had good experiences, but that was not my experience. As I explained to Diana, we were not booking for a simple one-night stay. Wedding timelines, vendors, etc. had to be rearranged because of her mistake. To be frank, a large part of my wedding was ruined. I think a one-star review is warranted in this circumstance.

    The house is so beautiful! Diana, the owner, is sweet and very helpful. My husband and I got married here and stayed 2 nights. We can’t wait to come stay again!

    We booked a stay at the Flatiron Loft because a friend had been and just loved it. We went mid-week and stayed two nights. It’s such a wonderful 2-bedroom accommodation, we were torn between exploring the many great restaurants and boutique shops and staying in and enjoying the autumn views and comfy living area. The host, Brandy, has thoughtfully considered every need, from a pampering facial mask, to first-aid kit, great magazines, books and movies, and wine, fine chocolates and yummy snacks and beverages, fresh flowers and aroma therapy, and robes and beautiful bed linens. We have never had such attentive care. She also recommended walking the neighborhood to take in the Halloween decorations. Needless to say, we’ve already booked our next visit in 5 weeks!
