They have this really cool Benson box, at least that’s what I call it, and you can get it once a month when they have them in stock. Stock. It is a box full of various treats and toys and other necessities for dogs and cats. I found the price to be very reasonable, especially for all the different things they added in. If you can’t find a suitable dog chew there, you probably won’t find one anywhere. You might just spend way too much time making a final decision, as I did. Thankfully, they do carry Hill’s Science Diet cat food for dental health, which is what our expensive (yet simple-minded) cat apparently requires these days. - Reviews:Good customer service. I was able to learn I can have them price match any price differences on their website to match in store. And if it’s on sale on the website I can just purchase online and pick up at the store and get the extra online sale discount. The store is well stocked and clean. As soon as they see a line forming at the register they ususally are on top of it and ooen another register. I usually can be in and out fairly fast! They had a Greta sale on fish filters for March. When I arrived with my dog I was informed that my dogs appointment is on the 17th not today. I have my own appointments scheduled for after I dropped The dog off. Now I have to bring the dog home And cancel one of my appointments. Lost money and time because someone in the grooming department made a mistake. Last time I brought my dog the hair cut was so awful. Petsmart will not get my business ever again. If I could give 0 stars I would. My family recently adopted a dog from them and I must say I am impressed with the care they show the animals, as well as the level of security they offer. While we were not able to get the dog we originally wanted we ended up getting a beautiful mixed breed, and the staff was very helpful through the whole process. I would highly recommend checking with the humane society before going to any pet shop or breeder.
This is very well kept and clean. There is a pet reception area where you can visit the various animals for adoption. They also have a pet food pantry and a surgical suite. A fenced area outdoors caters to becoming familiar with your prospective pet and meet and greet your other pets. There is a designated bootle drive drop off area to help with the costs incurred by the shelter in order to offer community classes, low cost procedures, stray animal management, and general cost and care for housing animals. This property was upgraded with a new beautifully maintained building. Parking and entrance is accessible for handicapped visitors. Please be aware of the drop off policy in regard to surrendering a pet which includes calling for an appointment. The shelter can be full and unable to receive your pet but can have alternative surrender options.
My boyfriend and I had to put our beloved 14 year old dog down this Thursday. The staff here was beyond compassionate during this experience, making us and our dog feel comfortable within his last minutes. We are extremely grateful and appreciative of the staff that helped us.
If you want to waste your time and have a place crush your kids heart go here. This is the second time I had an issue here and last time I will ever go here. I’ve been to other humane societies without an issue. I have had an issue at this place in the past and figured I’d give them a second chance. We waited over a half hour after filling out paper work online and in person just to have another family go in front of us that walked in the door 10-15 mins after us. I was ready to adopt today but because of their negligence to the customer I will adopt elsewhere. Very disappointed in the way things were handled here.
Friendly, fast and efficient. Can be crowded but the staff was great to work with. Ready parking. Kept pretty clean. Pretty knowledgeable about the animals.
