  1. Very nice and clean shelter. Animals are all very well taken care of and the personnel is friendly and knowledgeable.
    They have mostly cat, dogs and bunnies up for adoption.
    You can get your dog license here too, it’s a quick process overall.

  2. I found a dog in the middle of the street in the rain on my way to work, so I drove here to drop it off. They told me to call a different shelter because I found the dog “out of their jurisdiction”. While on the phone with the other shelter, they said the address on the collar was in the correct jurisdiction for where I was and the shelter argued with the other shelter through me. I had said that dog was very thirsty but they didn’t seem to care. I was very sad at the amount of compassion they showed towards me and the dog.

  4. We have stray cats. We were able to bring her there to get fix, shots, and chipped. We released her to our yard and will feed her. We also trapped her babies and will bring them for adoption.

  5. I love all the animals but I don’t understand why there are some cats that are in a room all by themselves while other cats have multiples in one cage. Not all of them have blankets or toys and while I visit every time none of the staff come back to where the animals are, to check on them or give them love and attention. They are all alone in their jail cells. It’s very sad.
    I have donated blankets and one of the times I went one of the dogs was bleeding on the floor. She immediately took the dog out of the cage to get it care. There was one person that works there that was very friendly but the rest didn’t seem to be

    This so called cat nonprofit could greatly benefit from diversity training I found them unbelievably in the present time very anti African American, rude, unorganized. On my first day of surgical tech training on Jefferson Street, they are surprised and uncomfortable when I presented as if they had never seen or interacted with an African American before. Later I was even cordially encouraged to skip training and leave. I can not believe such narrow, small minded people exist in this day and age who are also bias in fostering and adoption practices. They refused to process my application, refused to communicate about the cat, Ash I was interested in fostering and instead adopted him out to another party after I tolerated all the rudeness and non assistance on my non volunteer visit days with Ash. Please consider supporting and donating to other cat adoption centers were the people are more humanistic and not narrow minded, biased or as I experienced racist as Nine lives has proven to be during my experience as a volunteer and a prospective fostering adopter in which I was never given the common courtesy of communication or consideration of my completed fostering application, instead they give the cat away to another who applied after I did without ever replying back regarding my application for Ash. I would donate, volunteer and support for any other cat rescue EXCEPT NINE LIVES Cat Foundation.

    First appointment there was a medical emergency so my cat was not able to be worked on, understandable. They rescheduled me two weeks later, I was hesitant but willing to give them another chance. after dropping off the cat at 7:30AM, I received a call around 12, telling me that my cat was too aggressive to operate on. I would expect a place that deals with wild cats to be able to handle my undersized cat. Between the reception, and the overall waste of time, I would give this establishment one star.

    We got Luon and he is the perfect addition to our family. The adoption center had plenty of pretty cats to choice from. We hit the jackpot cause he is sweet, playful, and a lovebug. He gets along fantastic with our two other dog kids.

    They do a great job taking care of cats no matter their status. This is a no-lill shelter. They’re closing down this location and moving to a nearby one, but still have their other small location at Jefferson (it’s a cat clinic with a couple cats for adoption)

    Couldn’t be more happier with this breeder. They were quick to respond whenever we had questions about the bunny we wanted. Jose was great during the pickup and answered all the questions I had and showed me how to cut our new bunnies nails. We took our little guy to the vet 3 weeks later to get a full health checkup and vaccine. They said he is perfectly healthy and to keep doing whatever I’m doing. It’s been about a month with him now and he shows no signs of aggression, loves to be petted and is very good with the litter box. We will be considering Bae’s Rabbitry when we are ready for another!

    Worth every penny! I recommend you stop by as soon as possible because they do get snagged up within seconds of being posted on their website. I love my Hollands, they are literally the sweetest pets I’ve ever had. I came back and got a bonded pair of tiny lion heads. They listen to commands and we’re fully potty trained. My vet has nothing but good things to say about them. I truly recommend this sweet family if you want genuine and caring bunny breeders.

    10/10 I recommend! I purchased 3 bunnies from Bae’s Rabbitry! I have been in contact with them since a little under a decade ago when I got them. Every year I go on vacation I board with them and trust them blindly! My bunnies have been extremely healthy, clean and happy when I pick them up. This family has time again showed how reputable and trustworthy they are. Their professionalism and care is unmeasurable! I receive compliments from my vet and friends on their mannered-behavior, I guarantee you will not find more docile and trained bunnies in better care than Bae’s!

    Three nights ago, I reserved a bunny paying $283 for the deposit. I have clinically diagnosed mental health issues, so I wanted to make the bunny as an emotional support pet. After I talked to my therapist, I came to the conclusion that a bunny may not be the best fit for me, as it’s a very sensitive creature. I ended up calling this business and the lady told me “ Absolutely no refunds”. I had read their policy after calling the first time, which I understood, but having a very legit reason as to why I’d like a refund on the DEPOSIT( not even the full price of the bunny), she ended up telling me no. I started to have a panic attack and yelled mildly . While I was still talking midway, she hung up on me. I found this very rude of her. This is not the way you handle business. You build up a well-established repertoire by showing a bit of consideration as needed. This not only builds the business, but it builds the social networking as well. I do not recommend doing business with them at all. It was a very unpleasant experience and I’d give it a 0/10. Response to business: I did not allow my phone call to be recorded at all and when I was still talking , she did hang up on me. Also, how would you know what my text conversation was unless you’re the owner giving me that response back 51 minutes ago?

    We had our bunnies boarded there while on vacation. The owner had her son there to take them, would not show us a picture of where they would be staying. She got angry when we asked for a picture of them or an update and she said she would only update us if something was wrong. My 10 year older texted her and asked for a picture and she didn’t respond. Then my daughter tried fro FaceTime once bc she was missing them and I received a rude text back. On pick up, she sent her son out again, she never came to the door. She is rude and boarding your bunnies there is shady. Do not purchase or board your bunnies here!! Shady operation. And the website said nothing about pictures until she added that after I asked for it. I have a copy of the text from “her” saying “she” will add it. I asked for a pic of the environment they would be living in and could not get them to send one. It’s all very shady including the website
