  1. When my wife and I moved to Carillon 11 years ago. we got permission from ou three children. We, and they, have no regrets. We fail safe and well provided for and our children (who live several hundred miles away) do not worry about us. They probably like Carillon even more than we do.

  3. We love Carillon! They have housing options for all stages of life. They have weekly activites planned for the residents, on-site restaurants for when families visit, transportation provided for those needed, and the staff is wonderful!!

  4. Given meds both patient and his specialists hands down refused as dangerous for him. Staff doesn’t listen.Has developed a pressure wound in 8 days there. Do not take your loved one here!

  5. My father in law was a recent resident of Carillon. He bought into the facility at a high cost many years ago with the anticipation of needing care later in life. He wanted to ensure high quality care, and thought Carillon was the solution. He was wrong. Carillon has “lost” my father in law on numerous occasions, when I call to speak with a doctor, nurse, or administrator about him my phone calls are not returned (I’m referencing dozens of phone calls over the span of a few months, noting a clear pattern), and even when I sent packages and they say “delivered” he does not receive them for days. Noticing a persistent lack of care for my father in law’s health and well-being, I’ve decided to consider the “buy in” a sunk cost and move him to a facility where I believe he will be treated with more dignity and respect. I hope this post saves someone else, and their family, the heartache and cost of a failed experiment that is Carillon. Trust me, these people do not care one bit about your loved one or you.

    In the past couple weeks we had to move my father into a different home. The process was overwhelming for many reasons. Ventura was one of many options we looked into. We met with Chana and she took the time to listen to our story and explain how she could help. She was patient, kind and supportive. Chana walked us through the property but most important she helped us through the process of a new home for dad. She was available by phone and text. She amazed us with her knowledge of the residents and even the pets. She amazed us with her compassion. Everyone we have met at Ventura has been great. Oh, and my dad would say the food is great too!

    I have not lived there but numerous people I have spoken with are extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with the new management that has taken over in the past few months I would never recommend this place to a person looking for a loving caring place to live

    Several of our friends live there. The food is very good. The accommodations are nice. Pricing is competitive. Staff is friendly.

    This is the place to live !! Relaxed atmosphere . Great selection of room floor plans, along with selection of cottages.. The management is attentive and caring of residents needs. I found it a relief not to be to be burdened with the extra cost of home ownership (taxes insurances, repairs) ) I like the idea that what your Ventura Place fees , covers –everything–is covered, In house bus service gets you to all appointments and shopping needs Also having three meals a day served to your table is a big plus. If you are thing of relaxed living , come check out Ventura place.

    I met with Matt Townley today and was impressed with the homey feeling when I walked in. The open floor plan of the dining room and activity rooms makes it feel like you are home. Matt knew everyone he crossed paths with. The building looks and smells clean and pleasant. The rooms are spacious. The grounds are impressive as well. I look forward to possibly working with Matt and the other staff to get my family situated there. Thanks Matt!

I cannot thank you both enough for you time with me, and I cannot say enough about the heartwarming feeling it gave me and how exciting and refreshing it was to see how Empowered Living and Quality of Life is not just a Mission Statement, but a real life experience in this next chapter of their journey.
