What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. Today I ordered the country boy breakfast with steak, eggs, grits, biscuits and gravy, apple butter, and two sides of hash brown casserole. The steak was juicy and flavorful, although I asked for it as medium it was a little more towards medium well, but that is okay. Hubby ordered the country fried turkey meal with hash brown casserole, broccoli and hush puppies. The country fried turkey tasted good and the turkey was moist and had good seasoning on it, but the hush puppies were a little bland for him. Also ordered a side of pancakes, as they are what’s worth driving here for in addition to the hash brown casserole. Service was pretty quick, we were seated with no wait since it was afternoon already. The store was clean, and well-organized, and they already had some Christmas stuff out. The other thing I liked, was they had my bar none candy bars, which they were out last time I came, so made me excited that they finally had them again. We will definitely return, as the hash brown casserole and pancakes are the best! The only downside, is we noticed each time we come, the portion sizes seem to get smaller and smaller. I remember when the grits came in a huge bowl and the hash brown casserole came in a bigger portion, as well as the other items. I understand that since the pandemic, many places have reduced portion sizes in order to keep prices down. However I do wish they would increase the size of the hash brown casserole and the grits. We will definitely return.

  2. The Cracker Barrel experience is always a good one. I believe the quantity of food and price are well above expectations here. In this occasion I picked up the country fried steak, fried apples and side of and grits. We also had the Grandma sampler, that one has eggs, side of sausage bacon or ham and pancakes. What ever you get here I’ll say they’re all good. Customer service is always good and sometimes exceptional. And shopping at their store while you is also a cool experience. Plenty of parking and a lot of Comfort food make this place amazing. I just wish they had more locations in California.

  3. Been wanting to try Cracker Barrel for sometime now and finally got my chance while visiting friends in the area. Decor in this restaurant is super cute. They also have a store you can shop in while you wait. We went in on a Sunday around 11am. Wait was about 30-40mins to get a table for four. Service wasn’t bad considering how busy they were. Food was yummy but I’m here to tell you about them biscuits 😋 super yumm!! Fluffy warm buttery so good. I was impressed. Deliciousness was all over the table but it’s the biscuits I’ll be back for. If you’re a breakfast lover like me don’t miss this spot.

  4. Finally was able to try breakfast here! There’s a wait list online so sign up before you arrive. We got on the wait list when we pulled into the parking lot. We waited about 10-15 mins. We browsed around the store while we waited, lots of cute items!

Everything we ordered was good but the superstar of the meal was the pancakes, warm syrup in the cutest bottles and the fried apples! The pancakes aren’t your super fluffy kind but has a crisp edge. They are so good! The service is quick and they turn around tables swiftly! We can’t wait to come again!

  5. While on our way home from a trip we found a Cracker Barrel and figured let’s get some road trip food.
The place opens into a shop full of merchandise which is pretty cool. Makes for a great environment when walking in. We sat down and ordered some rolls and cornbread, along with some fish and catfish special.
For some reason we couldn’t order the chicken which we heard so much about because they ran out? It was bizarre…
When we got the rolls, the cornbread was rather bitter and unpleasant and the normal bread rolls were raw! We asked them to kindly bring us different rolls and the next batch was raw as well; just pure dough that sticks to your mouth.
The waitress brought one more batch and they were about half raw. Hard to believe a place can’t make rolls..
The entrees came and the fish was delicious, the green beans were salty, the dumpling were messy but delicious.
So overall the food is decent but they ran out of all their chicken and kept serving us raw bread rolls. Avoid this place unless you only want the fish though that may be the only food they have available, and avoid the rolls!

My very first experience & it was really an excellent one… The burger was really tasty & the fries was not oily at all… What was amazed me was the cleanliness of the very crowded place as well as the restrooms…

Remember this order if you’re not from CA. Double double, whole grilled onions, chopped chilis, toasted buns and light well fries. You can thank me later. So good you’ll want to order another round. Tons of parking and quick lines.

Todays experience is not like the ones I have had here in the past. Today my french fries tasted raw like they werent friend long enough. My Burger tasted bland like there was no seasoning added to the meat while cooking . I also purchase a large hot chocolate and it tasted like water. I asked to get a different one and it was worst. Then I asked for another one and the employee said that the machine had run out of powder. Finally the third one was great.

Always a favorite! Love that you can order your burger and get it exactly how you’d like. We love mustard fried, chopped chiles and both grilled and raw onions. My daughter worked for In N Out so she knows the secret menu. 😋🍔

This particular Olive Garden was a “meh” to me. It wasn’t bad, it wasn’t great, it was just middle of the ground. The greeters at the door were extremely enthusiastic, but our server was average. She didn’t do a terrible job, but she wasn’t a server that “stood out to me.” The one thing that DID catch my attention was the salmon I ordered. It was fantastic! Both the broccoli and the salmon were better than I ever had anywhere! So, I guess that is enough of a reason for me to come back here. There was one source of irritation for me. Olive Garden gives the children menus and crayons to keep them occupied, but the crayons are terrible! You can’t even color the menus they give the children with the crayons. It’s like someone took a candle, and dipped it in dye, and called it a crayon! Olive Garden, you can do better than this!

My first time at Olive Garden and I really enjoyed it. Had a 4 course meal where I started with a chicken soup that was free with the entree, then a Stuffed Ziti Fritta, for an appetizer, which as a cheese lover I really enjoyed, then a Shrimp Alfredo, for my entree, which was the best shrimp pasta I ever had, and then I topped it of with a Sicilian Cheesecake that was also great. All in all it was a pleasant experience and the service was so good. My only comment would be that the place is a bit expensive. Highly recommended for Italian food and cheese lovers

So I’ve been to my fare share of Italian restaurants and I will honestly say I’ve lived here in the high desert for over 30 years and I don’t know why I never wanted to try this place. I’m actually mad at myself for wanting to. I have a favorite Italian restaurant that I always go to but I will definitely say this is such an amazing place that it is my rank 2 on my fav food spots here in the HD. The setting is very elegant, the staff are extremely welcoming and courteous to all customers, and the upkeep on cleanliness was by far spotless. The food was absolutely fantastic! Both me and my wife LOVED it i was extremely suprised of how good the chicken parm was i would totally eat like 3 servings of just this! The pasta was super flavorful and just man so worth the wait and I would definitely recommend anyone passing through to try it out!
