  1. We knew nothing about karate but our 8 year old wanted to join. We found CD Young’s Karate and are so thankful we went with them. They made us feel like family from the moment we walked in the door. It’s only been a couple of months but our boys are loving it!

  2. My 5 year old son’s favorite part of the day is coming to CD Young’s Karate after school!! We have seen a positive change in him where he has increased his confidence, attitude, respect and willingness to step out of his shell and we owe a HUGE part of that development to the amazing Master Young and Team. We’ve only started Karate a few months ago but it’s been the best thing that’s happened to our boy. From the moment we walked in the door, we felt like we were part of a loving and warm family. My husband and I are in awe with the level of dedication, coordination, discipline and respect that this entire Team provides for their students. They go above and beyond to teach valuable life skills as well as maintaining consistency and balance. I highly recommend coming here!

  3. Our four year old daughter loves coming here! My husband and I have been impressed with the program and know it’s well worth the investment. The owners and all of the instructors are huge-hearted and it’s obvious they love the kids and love sharing their passion. They host many additional family-style events throughout the year, which we really appreciate and enjoy as well.

    Idk what else I could say. Everyone is super nice, friendly, and has the best attitude. They don’t only teach karate they teach how to build good habits, but they inspire even us parents to grow personally, emotionally to be the best for us for our kids and families too. Omg it’s an amazing super karate school. Not any karate school. They have a variety of events during the year for the kids (ninja night) for the whole family. ( Park Day). They’re always making sure everyone gets involved like this last one they came up with, like bring your kid to work day, but this time was bring a parent to class day. I just loved it, so my son did too. You see one thing, but what you do on the mat is another thing. We love Master Young Msr. Young Big Master Young and the whole team. I am so proud to be part of an amazing team. If you’re here thinking, would this be right for me for my kids??? Don’t think no more because you’re in the perfect place. This is real, not false advertising.

  5. We are so blessed to have found CD Young Karate in Henderson . They are always going above and beyond to help the kids ! They also plan many family events throught the year , which makes it like its own little community. My 6 year old son absolutely loves all of the instructors and we are excited to put my 4 year old in next month . They have really helped my son with his confidence and attitude !

    When I signed my sons up to Family Martial Art school I wasn’t sure what to really expect. My one son Austin developed medical issues and eventually wasn’t able to continue classes. Master E, Ms Bitakis and staff worked with me continued to ask about him. My son Justin was having issues in school, home and had a lot of anger issues and Master E took time out of his day to speak with him several times. Justin is doing so much better he hasn’t been in trouble he is 100 % better at home. Through Classes he has developed confidence, he has something to look forward to. He has his eyes set on black belt. Justin has made friends. Family Martial Arts has opened up a whole new world for him. “Family Martial Arts is exactly what their name implies…..it’s a family.” A family who not only teaches, but the staff cares, takes interest in its members. Gives confidence, structure, understanding and most of all they always take the time to help in anyway possible. I am so grateful for all the staff. I would recommend and have to anyone who has Children. This is a family not only Martial Arts School.

    We recently signed our 5yo for the Dragon class, and 3.5 months in, our household have gone to dealing with a disrespectful, spoiled princess to a more disciplined, respectful kid, who wants to protect her baby sister. Our kiddo has learned how to take responsibility of her actions or lack of and accept consequences of her actions. She’s also learning the difference between getting rewarded for participation versus earning rewards and being proud of it.

    This Dojo is awesome! They take the lessons and break them down and make it simple and easy for all ages to understand and advance through each stage. My son already is in the orange belt stage I am so proud of him . Thank you for everyone all all that you all do. 😊

    Our daughter has been going to Family Martial Arts for a little over a year now and it’s been one of the greatest experiences we could give her. While there are many great aspects about this studio, to me the instructors have to easily be the best part. They are extremely supportive, kind, and motivating. They recognize students as individuals as opposed to a collection of customers and will take the time and make the effort to work with them individually if they need extra help, and that’s not limited to just training, either. Also, they host many events throughout the year, some related to martial arts and some just for fun. This really adds to the sense of community and inclusion that they are clearly going for. One thing to keep in mind if you are a parent looking into enrolling your child (or even yourself) is that this is a program that does have requirements which add to the total cost aside from the monthly membership fee, such as equipment and belt testing. I’m not mentioning this as a negative at all, just something to consider when factoring everything into your budget.

    Wow..this place is amazing!!! I don’t even know where to start of. We decided to sign our 9 year old son for JiuJitsu and based on raving reviews inquired at Zangief JiuJitsu. Got response right away from coach Gabe who invited us for free week of classes. Location is super close and convenient to our house. We were happy to find this is not a regular gym but rather a big family that trying to help each other in any way possible. Kids got unbelievable personal attention during the entire class from coach Gabe and another higher belt coach all the time. There is a hidden gem too.. :)) Taekwondo classes 3 times a week with highly skilled and very personable coach Yami, who is also a active JiuJitsu competitor. I love it so much that I’ve decided at 48 years to start JiuJitsu classes too and signed in along with my son with the adults. Amount of talent in this gym is unmatched in my opinion and you can never going to encounter a big egos or intimidation of any kind…Thank you for the amazing environment!

    Train here now! When I’m in Vegas for work I always stop in. The upper belts are super technical and when rolling hard it never felt unsafe. Technical, friendly, welcoming. One of the instructors even helped me with getting laundry access for my gi while visiting. Felt like family.

    Started my BJJ journey with Gabriel and his team at Zangief Jiu Jitsu about 5 months ago at the age of 41. This academy will push and motivate you to be the best version of yourself. I highly recommend Zangief BJJ for anyone looking to get out of their comfort zone and train BJJ. Almost forgot to mention that my 8 year old son trains there as well. The kids BJJ anti-bullying program is great. Get your kids off the couch and away from screens.

    By far the best atmosphere I’ve ever been in. This place has a tremendous presence of peace. Everyone here that I meet has a humble attitude and is very polite, respectful, and pleasant. Coach Gabriel is an amazing athlete and instructor. He not only trains for his own professional fight, but he is there day to day giving class, giving personal tips for improvement and keeps the place clearer then some restaurants. This place has helped me physically, emotionally and mentally. Learning to move my body in and out of challenging positions allowed me the ability to attack life in the same manner.
