What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. Sooooooo good!!! First time there and the food was amazing! Drinks were awesome! Server was very sweet and attentive. Would definitely go back! Make sure you have a reservation though or you won’t be likely to get in. It’ll be worth it though!

  2. The place is beautiful decorated at the heart of Asheville downtown. The salad of beef and nuts is excellent. For main we had the duck, chicken, salmon and beef. The best one was the chicken. Don’t miss the Cream brûlée for desert. Service was perfect, fast and attentive.

  3. This place was amazing! The staff was super friendly. Service was super fast. Food is to die for!! You need to make reservations but we were lucky enough to get a seat without one.

  4. Wow – amazing food. Well worth it. Best French in Asheville! Scallops were perfect. French onion soup was the best. Blueberry lemon bread pudding was amazing. Wow. Just wow!

  5. Best service, great vibes, intimate setting and most importantly… amazing food. The lobster ravioli is super rich and worth the calories. Pate in a jar was really tasty, but wanted softer bread to come with it. Steak was cooked to perfection and the cabbage side was surprisingly tasty.

I always stop by Asheville on my way back from Tennessee just to get into this place. Every visit was great except the last one. Highly suggest getting the duck and the lamb dish. Escargots are fantastic at this place however it was interesting how our waiters have not suggested steak. We ordered it anyways as my significant other loves trying them at many places. When it came out we were both confused why would it have sauce on the meat instead of the side. Haven’t thought anything about it at the moment I was enjoying my dish. It was hard not to notice the face of my girlfriend when she took a first bite of the steak. So I asked if I can have some, which was a big mistake. To describe the taste I can tell you that the spare tire thrown on the grill would taste better then what we were served. On the other hand duck was perfect. Flavor was on part, texture and juiciness. If you ever find yourself in this place order anything else but the steak. Outback steak house would have a better one then what we had to enjoy that afternoon. Sarah was nice enough, however, no 2 bite check, have not refilled the water and not asked if I want another round of my drink, no tour of the menu, not to mention the fact that she did not bring the steak knife.

Great food! The lamp chops were excellent. Cook just right with great sauce. Mussels too! French onion was good. Wonderful beautiful place. The wait staff was excellent and friendly. We still remember the great meal we had there, if we could eat there again, we would definitely do it! Enjoy this great place to dine. You’ll thank me if you did!

Food and service is incredible. I’m so happy that someone recommended Isa’s to my wife and I today. Nick was the best waiter we have been served by in quite some time and the food exceeded our expectations. Thanks to the kitchen for the hard work put into these delicious offerings.

Can’t say anything about dinner as we went for breakfast/brunch, but I was totally impressed. The service was amazing and the food was spectacular. We had the chicken and French toast and the croissant madame (see picture). The mimosas were also very good (we had the flight). It did get pretty busy as we were leaving, so it seems to be a popular spot but totally worth the wait.

Just went for a late brunch on Sunday and found the salad with blackened chicken to be packed with flavor. The fried green tomato croutons and artichoke hearts accented the blackened chicken perfectly. And we had an excellent waitress who made sure we had everything we needed without intruding in our table talk. Great place – definitely recommend!

Visited this spot when I was in town. Never had a Crepe before and the one I picked was delicious! I had the banana Nutella one and it was soooo good. My boyfriend had one called Manic Monday. Definitely would come again. The inside of the place is very cozy too, and the employees were super nice.

My husband and I ordered our food from DoorDash for pickup. Unfortunately when we got there at our pickup time, our food had not been started. We only waited another 5 minutes or so to get our food, so we did not wait too long. The food was very good! The fruit cup I got as a side was very fresh.

Decided to stop here after all the other brunch places had hour long waits and we loved it! Our order was taken quickly and our crepes came out within 10 minutes. They were SO good, we wished we had ordered more. We got one with bacon, egg, mozzarella, green peppers, and onions with chipotle sauce and one with Nutella, bananas, strawberries, and whipped cream. Will definitely be back the next time I’m in Asheville.

Not a French crêperie. (Which possibly explains the name?) That said the falafel crepe with GF batter was crispy like eating a cracker-like lavash wrap. I worked hard at using my fork and knife then gave up and picked up the “cone” and ate it with my hands. Kenneth’s special breakfast crepe looked and tasted “meh”.

Stopped in for the first time and was not disappointed!! We went with a sweet option, but we’ll definitely be back for savory options next time! Staff was really nice, patient, and knowledgeable! Very cute window/patio seating!
