What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. Great food, service was outstanding. The parking is small for it. Had a hard time finding a parking space for a Saturday morning it was expected. I had the hobo omelet with fresh fruit and toast. I got full really fast they packed with good serving of meats. I liked the atmosphere and the theme of the bears throughout the place.

  2. My pictures do the place no justice. The restaurant is a decent size decorated so uniquely with wood and bears cabin feel. They have baby clothes for sale upon entering the restaurant and other items to the right next to the music box. Didn’t look right. You also see cake slices and mini pies for sale. I bought the chocolate pie. Still gotta try it. The employees are really nice, welcoming, professional, and accommodating. It gets really busy. We waited about 15 minutes to be seated. Waited maybe 20 minutes for our food. Both waiting times were average for an establishment like this. The prices are a bit higher compared to other surrounding restaurants/diners. But the food is so worth it! Portions are decent and the food is tasty. Even my Arnold Palmer tasted way better here than other restaurants. The menu is a bit overwhelming because it’s like a newspaper. It has a bunch of other information that has nothing to do with the food menu. All the writing blends in no color or pictures. They use a symbol next to bigger food items if you are really hungry. I believe they have vegetarian options too and a kids menu. There is a restroom in the restaurant. The place was kept clean. Definitely recommend and definitely am returning. You might not have good luck with parking because it is small.

  3. I’ve been to this one twice now and the other in Long Beach a few times and I’ve always had a decent experience.

This last time was only a little too much because of the hash browns. See pictures.

Hands down, the nastiest hash browns I have ever had. I asked for extra crispy, so not sure if that had anything to do with it, but I don’t think so because it wasn’t burnt. It had a very weird taste to it.

But besides that, everything else was fantastic. The Huckleberry Shake and Berry Lemonade were both terrific as was the food. My brother’s plate, the stuffed French toast and sausage was bomb.

My steak and eggs and grits were good too.

  4. Fun family restaurant. Very Americana. Log cabin feel with wood decor and photos and images of black bears. Loved the menu on a newspaper, but seemed a little wasteful. Service was great. Lots of people checking on you and refilling your coffee. I think at one point our server left because I asked for hot water, but was left waiting before having to ask someone else. Cute breakfast dinner.

  5. Food was average, we waited for a long time to be seated (they said 10min we waited 20min, which isn’t a problem by itself). Then we got seated and they took forever to take our order. Then we waited a good 30min before being served. The food wasn’t great. The chicken patty are amazing though! And the waitress (Carol) was really nice.
    Food:
French toast were said the be thick cut but turned out to be regular white bread and thin.
Waffle tasted like store bought dough just not good.
    Way too expensive.

My husband and I finally got a long deserved date night away from our 7 kids and we chose to go to Anthony’s to have a quiet dinner. We walked in the door and were unsure if we could even get seating. Ty-lyn was exceptional and was able to place us right away. She was very courteous and was able to find us a table right away. When we got seated, Jesse C came right up to us with a golden smile and introduced himself. He welcome us and help us with our drink orders. He was extremely polite and friendly. When he returned to take our order he was very helpful with suggesting items from our menu that were exceptional. Throughout the meal, he continued to check on us and make sure that everything was to our liking. After we had finished eating, Erin came over right away, almost as we had finished eating and asked if we would like her to remove our dishes for us. She asked us if we would like boxes or a dessert. She was very kind and smiled with a infectious smile. My husband and I don’t get out very often, but when we do we try to find staples of perfection with great food, spectacular customer service and someplace that bring value to your marriage. Thank you to all the staff at Anthony’s Lounge & Ristorante. We look forward to seeing you again!

Excellent Osso Buco, Stuffed Pork Chop and Cioppino. Staff is always polite and very helpful, great service. Spumoni Ice Cream is delicious. Highly recommend.

Great atmosphere. We went on a Saturday night with a reservation. We sat in the dining room with the pianist. The service was great. The decor is a little dated. This might have been THE spot for a great anniversary dinner 10 years ago. It seems a little out of its prime, but still good. It’s tough to find a nice ambiance like that and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Food was OK. The stuffed pork chop was good.

This is my new favorite restaurant. I have been looking all over the area for a good Italian place and I have finally found it. The service was amazing, they truly do treat you like family from the moment you walk in like ither reviewers I had read prior to eating here have said. The food was delicious and the dessert options were amazing and plentiful. I highly recommend this place, just be prepared to overeat as the food is that good!

My favorite local Italian restaurant. I have never had bad food or service here in 10 years! The family that owns it is always in there working hard and taking care of their customers. The Sea bass and the Lasagna are amazing! Great bar selection as well. Nice atmosphere right on the strip in Old Town Murrieta. A local fave!

Atmosphere was great staff is amazing and being able to watch planes take off and land is definitely a bonus. We ordered the chicken fried steak which came with a “country gravy”, mashed potatoes, and a side salad. We also ordered the chicken marsala which came with green beans, rice pilaf, chicken smoothed in a white wine mushroom sauce, and a side salad. The salad was different as it had homemade croutons on it but was made with rye or pumpernickel or something similar to that taste. Aside from that it wasn’t anything remarkable. The country fried steak meal was ok. The mashed potatoes were bland and the “country gravy” was sweet with little sausage so that threw me off. The chicken Marsala meal was hardly edible. The green beans were still raw and the rice pilaf was way over cooked. The mushrooms tasted like canned mushrooms and without the wine sauce the chicken was also bland. To wash it all down we ordered a Sprite and a lemonade. The sprite went flat not even half way through the meal and the lemonade was very tart, and not too sweet.

I really love this place. My favorites on the menu are the Cobb Salad (best in Temecula), the Travelair sandwich and their chicken wings (and this is coming from a New Yorker who knows/loves his chicken wings!). My wife and I love coming to watch the planes takeoff and land. Very relaxing and enjoyable. It’s not 5-star dining, hence my 4-star rating, but it is also priced commensurately. The staff is always friendly and on top of things and the bar is also a fun place to watch a football game or catch some live music on weekends.

My kids love the aircraft all over the ceiling and watching planes takeoff. Perfect place for hanging out with friends and having a tasty Burger! Recommend everyone tries! 👍

I’ll start with the wait, Saturday morning we expect a wait told it would be 20 to 25 minutes and it ended up being much closer to an hour wait. We were sat at a dirty table and I asked the host to wipe the table for us he did but did a poor job and the table was still dirty luckily my wife had some hand sanitizer wipes that we used to clean the table. Ambiance is nice next to the runway so you get to see planes taking off and landing, inside was a bit loud but is what you would expect from a diner. Ordered our food and it was …. Ok. The wait to get the food was a bit long almost 45 minutes. The lettuce on the sandwich was old and wilted, the fries were great! I would not recommend this diner if you are looking for freshness or prompt service.

We were a big group, spent a grip of money on food and were having a good time with each other and the staff. Taking photos of airplanes and the facility. Manager who wasn’t even on shift asked us to leave because we were “there for too long”. While I understand we were taking up space. There wasn’t anyone that had needed our space in the first place. Overall if we are ordering often and causing no disturbance, and our space isn’t needed there’s no need to ask for us to leave. Completely unnecessary.
