  1. Plumber tech was nice and able to fix the problem quickly. He was knowledgeable and intelligent. It was almost double the National hourly rate average to hire a plumber. They charged 375/hr just to fix a pipe under the sink. It was fine for an emergency situation(still within business days / hours). In the future I’d wait a couple days if needed to use another reputable company who’s guaranteed to charge less.

  2. Showed up pretty close to when they said they would, same day I called with backed-up kitchen sink. Very expensive for the time involved but got the job done. He was very upfront about the cost at the beginning, however.
    If I have one criticism, it would be that the tech, John, should have worn booties. There were dirty footsteps where he first entered our house. Very personable and knowledgeable tech and very helpful in suggesting ways to keep the drain from clogging again.

  3. Carlos arrived on time and quickly inspected my drain. He clearly explained my options to repair my drain. Carlos was very fast and knowledgeable with how to repair my drain. He tested everything before assuring me it was fixed. Carlos explained the warranty and asked if there were any other plumbing repairs before leaving.   4. Carlos arrived on time for the appointment. He educated us on our bathtub drain and water heater value. He fixed both issues in a timely manner. I am glad we no longer have hair clogged in our bathtub drain and running hot water. I can finally enjoy our home!

  5. We had a very bad clog in our dual sink kitchen sink. Pasta got run through the disposal and waaay down the pipes got clogged. Carlos got here at 730 and was here until 10pm making sure the work got done and done right. He even ran to Home Depot to get a new piece of pipe that was needed. And he got me a discount on the work prior to starting when he heard I had to rush my dog to the emergency room the night before which cost us a lot of money. I would absolutely recommend these guys, and Carlos especially to anyone looking for good service with good moral compasses.

    And the sink and pipes are all working perfect now. With a 6 month warranty on the work. I highly recommend them.

    I called The Plumbing Dr on October 3rd after discovering water leaking through the ceiling of our downstairs bathroom. It was a total crisis moment. I was quickly scheduled for same day service. Harold and Jake arrived earlier than I expected yet called me to alert they were en route. They quickly identified the source of the leak, a small hole in copper tubing that had obviously been there some time. Of course they had to open the ceiling up. But they quickly repaired the leak and referred someone for drywall repair. Harold and Jake were personal, professional and very thorough. I would totally recommend using The Plumbing Dr and especially Harold and Jake. They did an excellent job.

    Harold arrived at our house this morning to help us with a kitchen drain issue. The was the first time we used “The Plumbing Dr.” We were pleased and satisfied with the entire experience. Harold was professional, and professionally competent. He did a fine job of figuring out what the issue was and resolved it in relatively quick time. He left the workspace cleaner then when he arrived and charged a fair price for the work. We would definitely use the service again and would recommend them to others.

    I moved to VA recently and had faucet leaks in bathrooms. Daniel was the mechanic who explained the issue. Did the work efficiently. He was very courteous, installed pressure regulator and faucet cartridge. He also gave some helpful suggestions. I will sure recommend your company and call you back if I have any plumbing issues.

    We had a fantastic experience with Daniel and Jake. They were here for the better part of the day working on the shower drainage/pipes in the basement. They showed us what was wrong, explained their recommended solution, and asked us if we had questions every step of the way. They were communicative, friendly, and thorough. They also went above and beyond cleaning up before they left (including our outdoor staircase, which wasn’t even where they were working). We can’t recommend them highly enough.     Fantastic experience with Brian! Was able to help us on Christmas day with a burst pipe. We called in the afternoon and he was here before 8pm. He talked us through everything and did a great job explaining what he was looking for and he was able to find the issue. He reccomended another colleague for drywall repair and other issues to fix.

    I needed to replace my 50gl natural gas water heater from 2005. I’ve got 4 different quotes (including one from Home Depot) and Chandler’s came out cheaper, for what I think is a superior water heater.     Yesterday we experienced an outage in our upper HVAC system. Chandler arranged for an HVAC specialist to swing by after completing another stop. We learned that a loose electrical connection resulted in a burned-out power connection. We also learned we didn’t have fuses in our Heat Pump installation. Chandler was completely done within the hour. They installed a new disconnect box with fuses. Great job!

    I called Chandler’s after my normal plumber quoted almost $7k (which I knew was way overpriced) to replace my leaking water heater. Chandler’s did an amazing job and I am so happy I called them. The process was incredibly easy, and they emailed me an estimate within minutes of me calling, rather than forcing me to pay them to come out and tell me it was dead (which I already knew). Other plumbers that I called insisted that they had to send a plumber to me to look at it before giving me a price. Chandler’s price was less than half my normal plumber. Kathy in their office was super responsive, and they were able to schedule my installation the same day that the water heater was delivered – mine had to be special ordered since it was a unique type. On the day of the install, Nathaniel arrived and was super professional and friendly, and did a very efficient job. He and his helper didn’t waste any time getting to work, and they worked diligently the entire time. When they were done, they cleaned up everything and didn’t leave any trash or mess behind.     I had my AC/Heater installed by Chandler’s Plumbing & Heating. Although there were recurring issues with the thermostat, Brian, part of their management, has does his best to solve them quickly. I do not believe this was part of the installment issue but rather the thermostat itself since it was fixed after they replaced it with a new one. I would recommend them to anyone who wants good support after the job is finished.
