  2. The place is great, it has all the things necessary for my fish. They had a variety of live fish as well the only thing I didn’t see right was that the fish tanks were pretty dirty. In conclusion it’s a really cool and complete place for pet supplies.

  3. Family event! Take your leashesd FUR BABIES and enjoy some time here acquiring good quality foods, snacks and supplies. We love enjoying the different animals shopping with their families and the ample choices to purchase and take home!

  4. Staff is always happy to help and answer questions from customers. Often times their aquarium section has far too many dead fish to suit me, and they are generally low in stock for a lot of fish care items.

  5. Took my dog there. They did not trim his toenails (which was included in the package that I got) all I needed was for him to be cleaned up, being a truck driver it’s hard to do on the road. He smelled worse coming out of there then he did coming in. Pretty sure they just sprayed him with some water. Will never be coming back there. Waste of $69

    I came in 1 hour before the store closed needing help with some items for our baby parakeets. I truly appreciate the help and patience I received from Jenny. She searched and researched and led me straight to the items that would be best for our new pets. Being so close to closing time I’m sure there were lots of other things she was needing to tend to but she still took time to me help me. I am very thankful and so are our birdies.

    Didn’t have the product I wanted, but did have something similar. Was very happy to find something else Ive been checking lots of other stores for. I had to wait a bit before someone came up to check me out. She wasn’t that friendly, but they had just opened and I suspect she wasn’t having a good morning. I was in and out quick enough and I used my rewards so that was satisfactory.

    Took my moppy dog Papas in to get groomed and OMG I cant believe it lol Groomer Angel is seriously an angel and preformed a miracle!! She got all my doggies hard to reach and sensitive areas. Will definitely be back and will definitely be requesting her everytime! 🥰🥰

    I have had family members adopt from this shelter in the past so I decided it was my turn. I enjoyed the fact that it was appointment only and holds were not allowed on adoptable animals. The staff is very friendly and you can tell they really care about each and every animal. Thank you for the pleasant experience and my new fur baby!

    I adopted my beautiful girl Maya (formerly known as Fiesta) from VVAPL in June so I am very grateful for them. During my visit they were very helpful and you could tell they truly care about the animals there. They ask questions to make sure the adoptee will be going to a good home that can accommodate their needs and that will be a good fit for the adopter as well. I could tell everyone there loved and cared for Maya, they even gave her a toy as a going away gift that she still plays with. Thank you everyone at Victor Valley Animal Protection League!

    As someone with experience working here, I have to say that the board of directors doesn’t know what they’re doing. They mistreat their employees and recently got rid of the entire crew dedicated to cleaning the cat kennels. Those in charge have no care for their employees or the animals. The Board President sends somebody else to do all of the talking because she’s afraid to be around the employees. A woman who recently gave birth, yet still came to work and did an amazing job was just laid off, while they kept the employee who is almost never there for his scheduled shifts. A lot of the time, he doesn’t even notify anybody about his absence beforehand. It has been confirmed that this same employee has been working at another office during the time he has called in sick, which is in direct violation of the handbook. The reason we were given for not getting rid of him was because he has an active workers comp claim, yet only a few months ago the board laid off a woman who was injured on the job and had to be rushed to the hospital. She also had a workers comp claim The layoff occurred within the same month. They like to think they can enforce the rules in their handbook, yet they get to be exempt from it and choose who those rules apply to. I have zero respect for the board, as does anybody else who works here. The working conditions are among the worst any of us have ever worked in. Morale is so low that some employees have stopped caring about the actions of the board. Do not volunteer here. Do not work here. Do not donate here. This place is not worth your time or money. Yes, the shelter is closing down. Us employees have been told that they’re planning to open back up in the future, but we have not been told how the idiotic board is planning on doing this. One thing is true, however. If they offer to rehire anybody they lay off, nobody will accept it. If they offer to hire you, don’t accept it.

    Adopted a rescue we found after no one claimed her. She was taken care of and they were very accommodating. We’ve also taken other pets to get fixed there and the vets did an amazing job. Highly recommend to adopt here or take your pets to get fixed.

    Love this place for adopting animals. Adopted a dog here back in October of 2022 and now just adopted a cat. Their pricing is fair for including the spay/neuter, Shots and microchips. Highly recommended this place and the staff is always so kind.
