Would definitely reach out to Bowers again for future plumbing needs.By David Fletcher (2 months ago)Ebuka and Jameson both did a wonderful job on a big project at my newly purchased home. Built in 1932, it was moved to its current location in the late 60s, which is when all of the (admittedly weird and quirky) plumbing under the basement was installed. We had a crack in the stand pipe for our clothes washer, which led to a cracked drain pipe under the concrete, etc, etc, all the way back to the main sewer line exiting the house. While other plumbers wanted to charge us a TON of money to repair issues that weren’t present, Brandon gave us a very fair estimate to correct the problem without doing other major work “just because we had the concrete open.” Ebuka’s and Jameson’s work is so much nicer than what my house had before, and it will stay that way for a long time to come. They were careful to be clean and were very courteous. They were incredibly kind to my dog, as well– she loved them, and she doesn’t always like repair people! They correctly routed the drain for my sink, moved my washer drain a few feet to the left so I could use the space under my stairs for storage, and even redid the (previously disjointed/bent) vent pipe going up to the roof. Thank you to Bowers Plumbing for doing such a great job; I feel very confident in the work you’ve done, and I can’t wait to finish putting my laundry/bathroom back together. Most important to me– none of the gentlemen I worked with at Bowers spoke down to me for being a woman. I have a lot of knowledge about home improvement projects, basic plumbing, etc; however I know very little about major plumbing fixes like the ones Bowers did for us. Other plumbers spoke over me to talk with my husband, or treated me like a child when they tried to explain things. - Reviews:This year I tried to use reddi industries to shut down my sprinkler system as I do every year. It took them three weeks and three dispatchers to schedule it. First two didn’t know how many weeks away till they could do the service. The third scheduled two hour window and technician didn’t show up or call. When I called them no one could give me an answer on when he would show up and then tried to say my window was four hours instead of two. It took him another 30 minutes to find out if technician was even available. By that time I managed to find a company cheaper and valued customers time with an appointment. Reddi industries also is price gouging this service. Sprinkler shut off in 2021 was $85 dollars. Sprinkler shut off in 2022 is $125. A service that takes nearly no materials and takes under 30 minutes increased by over 30% I would not recommend them to anyone. Overall this year they got more expensive, providing less service, don’t value the customers time. I chose to seek other companies that are credible and provide better value and actually put an interest in the customers time.By Richard Burke (6 months ago)Jesse was excellent. Once dispatched, he called to say when he would be available the same day. He arrived exactly on time which is rare. He was very professional and got to work immediately. In very little time, he pulled a slug of roots out of the line about 2 feet long. Then he made sure that all of the bathrooms were working and not backing up. After he left we discovered that the kitchen line was still plugged. Jesse came back as soon as possible and cleared the blockage. Excellent service and excellent work ethic!By Joseph Skidmore (5 months ago)The two men that came out fixed the problem quickly, but they were also quick to leave without any explanation of service, just a quick bill. When the bill was so high, I had to ask him to explain the bill and the man said I could look at my email receipt AFTER paying. When going to look myself to see what they had worked on (because they had not shown me), I noticed all the wires and filter left behind on the floor. Suzie called the next day to follow-up, which I was glad about, I let her know I felt rushed into paying this large amount with no explanation of what broke/what was fixed. It was a few minutes later she called back to say she was able to refund the service fee and give the feedback to the guys that did the job.By Carley Dodson (5 months ago)I asked a them to send a mechanic to look at my washer machine an when he got here he arrived with no tools an right off the back said he would have to charge us 500 for transmission an he didn’t even inspect it long so we called another company,able an ready appliance repair,. They fixed my washing machine in 30 min. These guys were able to get me in the day I called when I unexpectedly had a pipe burst Christmas night.
