What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. The food looks nice 4/5, tastes 3/5 and price slightly high and quite packed at weekends so better make reservation first. Staffs service is good and polite and food were served quite fast after placed order.

  2. Good environment and good food.
    Staffs are polite and attentive.
The salad bar still not available.

Try new double cheese chicken chop meal but it’s too salty because of slide cheese, suggest use parmesan cheese. Carbonara spaghetti is tasty.

  3. My kids were like crazy for this place. Finally I brought them for a surprise treat fir dinner. The place was packed. However I love the efficiency of the people working here. They got us a seating withing 2 minutes. Service us very good. Patient waitress because children don’t make decisions that fast. Food came withing 10 minutes of ordering. We had chicken chop with cheese & mushroom sauce, chicken chop with black pepper sauce, fried rice and fried bee hoon. All set menu. Pricing also is also affordable. We had a good time here. Definitely will visit again. Since the last time I came just a slight increase in price. However the portion is still unchanged.

  4. A busy place, which tells us how good the food here is. Pricing is on the high side. However, if you visit during promos or order sets, your meal can be pretty reasonable, with a free drink and a scoop of ice cream. Recommended for special occasions and gathering with family/friends.

  5. One of the better overall restaurants in Ipoh, in terms of food quality, environment, service and price. It’s located in town, near the MBI and Ipoh Parade. They have set lunches, which includes a drink and ice cream. Nicely renovated, comfortable, air-conditioned. The service is fast and the waiters or waitress are friendly. The price is not the cheapest, but reasonable for now.

The ice cream at Inside Scoop is absolutely fantastic. The flavors are rich and creamy, and the shop offers a wide variety of options to suit all tastes. Whether you’re in the mood for classic flavors like chocolate and vanilla, or more adventurous options like Lucky Pistachio and Choc Orange Firecracker, there’s something for everyone. The ice cream is made with high-quality ingredients, and you can taste the difference in every bite. The prices at Inside Scoop are reasonable, especially considering the high quality of the ice cream. Overall, I would highly recommend Inside Scoop to anyone looking for delicious ice cream in a fun and welcoming atmosphere. The quality of the ice cream is exceptional, and the service is top-notch.

Charming, excellent personality inside scoop staff. An important part of customer experience. The waffles was okay but i prefer it slightly crisper like the ones done at other outlet.

I ordered a three scoops ice cream waffle and three scoops ice cream + ice cream cone. I was super surprised at the checkout. It was more expensive than expected. This price is enough for a dinner. It turns out that the item of the order does not include ice cream, and there is an additional fee for each ball of ice cream, which is simply sky-high. The ice cream tastes good but melts quickly, and the waffles also soften quickly.

Me and wife came here to quench our sweet tooth and we were not disappointed with the options available. Finding a parking a night wasn’t that hard and there was a queue upon entering the store. However, we didn’t have to wait long before its out turn to be served. I really like their Valrhona Chocolate ice cream. If you’re have a membership with them, they will give you a free ice cream scoop on your birthday month. The space is clean, well-arranged and cosy. The staff themselves were friendly and professional. Long story short, if you’re looking to satisfy your sweet tooth, this is definitely a place worth considering.

One of my favorite ice cream place, can’t remember how many times had been visited here, they have amazing ice creams and the waffles, they offers a wide range of flavors, I’ve tried All kind of Chocolates , hazelnut, pistachio, durian and etc. I prefer the previous pistachio which is not made for CNY one. Very enjoyable indeed. Sometimes there may be a bit of a queue but the wait is really worth it. Suggest you should visit before 8pm on weekend if you are craving for waffle or the store will completely out of it.

This is the very first Café I’ve ever visit in Ipoh before I started my food hunting journey, used to have quite a lot of breakfast and lunch options. The food is fresh and delicious to get you through your day. The staff is nice and friendly as well. The environment is laid back with music playing in the background and very clean. But now the menu seem changed after few years, most of my favorite dishes isn’t in that menu anymore. Not even the pancake with ice cream..

Large portion. Plating is nice. Taste depends on what you order. Overall, the food taste is good. Cakes are the best! We have the Ferrero Bailey today. Very nice cake! Environment is comfy. Staff is polite and responsive. Serving time is slightly longer but still acceptable since we were chitchatting there. Recommended for next visit.

Venue ambience is tip top. Loved the cappuccino baileys. Food wise, the pasta came a little bit dry. The salted egg lava croissant is very salted egg-y, the lava almost flooded the whole plate! However, I think it’s good to be served by itself and didn’t go well with the ice cream.

My trip to Ipoh was not only to revisit the food places I used to like. It was also a chance for me to finally try out the café scene. A quick check on Google Map helped me to decide on Patisserie BoutiQue. The mains and desserts looked as good as they tasted. I’ll let these pictures do the talking. It’s the weekend after all and I’m feeling lazy.

Great ambience. Everything seems inviting. Cleanliness is also well taken care of. Came here for a quick dessert session after a heavy meal elsewhere. Instead of a daily fixed menu, wish they would have more of a variety when it comes to daily cakes though, that will be much better. Staff is also very helpful.
