3 weeks agoMr Brian is phenomenal and he has the BEST ATTITUDE IN THE WORLD! He definitely went above and beyond for us today. He greeted me even though the deli was closed, he said if you need anything I can help you and you will be my last client if the day! His attitude, his demeanor, his personality are top notch!!!7 months agoI don’t normally shop here, and it is definitely out of the way- but I will go out if my way for some good fried chicken. Unfortunately- I have come here 3 separate times in the past 2 weeks for some fried chicken. Not once did they even have any fried chicken, but there was nothing. I asked the young man when the chicken would be done- mind you it’s 11am on the dot- and he informs me there’s none cooking yet-!!?? The sign says serving lunch at 11- Greatly disappointed- 3 times , and you’re out . I’ll just have to find me a good fried chicken place closer to home.2 weeks agoIrene in the deli was so helpful and very fast and friendly. Aca,Larry & Kenny are extremely helpful. Trevor, cashier goes the extra mile for his customers. Thank you!!!a month agoThis Kroger is kept in terrible condition especially in the meat department. There is no reason why this department shouldn’t be in better condition. Shame on the store manager, assistant store manager, department manager, assisted department manager, and those that work in the department. Corporate needs to come in for a retraining if this is what the store seems acceptable.2 months agoI had a problem today I asked the baggage person heavy set black guy to not cross contaminate meat with dry items and even said I will help u bag my items as I leaving the young cashier black girl with braids said to him I would just walked away is it my fault ur not taught protocol on bagging never worked in a grocery store in my life and know u shouldn’t put meat with those items sad day when u can’t asked stuff nicely and get respect and get talked about when u walk away how unreasonable was I being and I’m also on a Ryder cart with a messed up foot no respect disabilities or anything. Sad Dat they my own ppl would do this makes me don’t even wanna shop here because I’m feelings were and if I would them again I’m not sure what I would say because of the lack of professionalism

a month agoAfter 4 years not visiting this supermarket, I went to buy a series of items required for dinner. As soon as I entered, felt an odor of potential rotten vegetables and a store that is worn down. I had good memories of what Kroger used to be.They still have a good selection of produce and the membership card gives you good discounts.
3 weeks agoArrived at Kroger this morning (8-24-2023) promptly at 6:10AM and the doors were still locked. An associate opened the doors at 6:13AM and I proceeded inside to shop. I finished shopping and proceeded to self-checkout to pay for my items and none of the registers are operational. It is now 6:26 and I am leaving along with several other customers due to the situation.a month agoWent to open my block of Kraft cheese this morning that I purchased yesterday, it had an expired date I’d 10/23 and it was molded. 😭😭 It was purchased at Kroger hey 278 in Covington GA. Will not shop there ever again. This Sucks……a year agothey didnt have beans . Y4 months agoThis is a smaller and older Kroger but it’s usually stocked earlier in the day. The employees are friendly and courteous. It out of the way for me but not bad. They need to upgrade all the Krogers in Newton/Rockdale to keep up with all the homes they’ve built here.

This Kroger is not my favorite but they are the largest and closest in my area. I do pickup often and never had a big problem. Make sure to check that your items are being worked on and select you are otw before arriving. I’ve only had to wait an extra 10 minutes one time. The store is super spread out so you are not on top of people. That’s the best part. Carts definitely need an upgrade. And a cleaning crew to deep clean all areas of the store.
Lately, I’ve had to toss way too much within days of purchasing; squash, oranges, avocados, tomatoes, ground sausage, goat cheese, heavy cream. All packaged items were within date and never opened. Fruits and veggies must be too old sitting on the shelves. Not coming back to this location.

Love this store! The service is great and they have a wide selection of just about anything you can think of. Also, the Deli department has a wide variety of meats and cheeses to choose from. They offer pre cooked food which I love on those busy days when you want a homemade meal but don’t have the time to cook. I can honestly say that I have never had a bad experience shopping at a Kroger. Oh and I can’t tell you how great their grocery app is. It will save you time as well as help you with your shopping by telling you what isle an item is on and the price as well, really is a valuable tool to have. It also alerts me about any specials and offers coupons to save on your groceries. And every time I shop I rack up fuel points and with the cost of gas these days every penny helps.
