- Reviews:Kitchen sink was backed up so we called after finding they were advertising a $99 any drain clearing offer. Tech showed up, well dressed, clean clothes and polite. Initial estimate was $405 that was dropped to $365 with a seniors discount. He proceeded to plunge….. not snake the drain. Within less than 5 minutes he was done, less than 45 from first ringing the doorbell. We renegotiated the cost down to $250. Not bad for less than an hour. I did ask about the $99 offer to which he replied that is the corp offer. They are a franchise and do not honor any deals. I get the feeling that the tech is on commission. Pricing is not on any sort of fixed basis after they “eye” you up, the estimate is given. Like dealing with a used car salesman. Drain is fixed, for now, but next time I will be wiser, ask more questions and look around on how others do their pricing instead of being fleeced based on the house, cars in the drive and age of resident.By Somer Crest (4 months ago)After receiving services, I can say, I was very impressed! I 10/10 recommend!By Leighanne Rowland (3 months ago)While I was out of town, 3000 miles away, my neighbor called to tell me there was a leak at the water heater, it was leaking out into the yard. I called Roto-Rooter of Lakeland to see if someone could get there asap! They were able to get a tech out within the hour. When Ryan arrived he assessed the problem and gave me a call. He explained what the problem was and said he was going to fix it but it would take some time. Ryan arrive at 5:10 pm and was there until 9:15 pm. He kept in touch with me and sent me photos of the problem. He fixed the problem beautifully even running into a few snags. He is a great service tech and definitely an asset to your company. I’m in the service industry as well and if I had just 1 tech as awesome as he is, I would never have another angry customer! Ryan is absolutely the best service tech! I will continue to use Roto-Rooter and will request Ryan from now on! Congratulations Roto-Rooter for having such a fantastic tech represent you! The break that frontier caused when they were doing repair. Broke the sewer pipe out front by the road and had our sewage spelling in our backyard. They even called the City Lakeland come out and verify it. - Reviews:I called True Plumbers for a price quote on a total replumb of my home as it has the old polybutylene pipes throughout the house. The came out almost immediately and gave me a free price quote. They worked with me on pricing and we agreed upon a price. That was on a Monday and they scheduled me for Wednesday. They said they could complete the job in one day. I was skeptical. Wednesday comes and they showed up on time. The two men, Cary and Curtis were very professional and instantly got to work. They were careful to not be too intrusive in getting access to the pipes. I was impressed with the care they took to do a great job. It’s not easy work but they did an awesome job. They not only re-piped the entire house with Uponor PEX, but they provided a master water shut-off on the outside of the house, removed a broken garbage disposal in my kitchen and replumbed the drain. They also installed a new kitchen faucet and 3 new bathroom faucets and installed a new hot water heater. I paid an additional fee for the faucet installs but it was very reasonable. In only 2 locations did they need to make a hole in the wall to access the pipes. One is in a closet so it will never be seen. The other is in the master bath but in both locations the opening is small and they fit it with a sleek looking access panel as seen in one photo. I’m located in Mulberry Florida and the water had a mild odor and a slightly off taste. We planned on getting a water filter by installation day so they could install that under the kitchen sink but we didn’t get it in time so they couldn’t install it. The interesting thing is, now that the pipes, faucets and hot water heater have been replaced, the water no longer has any odor or funny taste. They did a great job cleaning up and removing the discarded and unneeded parts when they were done and swept the floors before leaving. I’m more than satisfied and the guys were great. I will never use any other plumber. If you need plumbing work call True Plumbers and ask for Cary and Curtis. They work out of the Plant City location. I’d give more than 5 stars if I could.By Mark Heller (8 months ago)Over the last four years True Plumbers has responded quickly to plumbing and septic system emergencies at our home. They have also done several modifications to our home including total replacement of our plumbing. Always those sent were polite, Professional, skilled and most importantly informative about what they were doing, how they would do it and what options we had available. Once I called them to our local church to unscramble the “church member” installed ancient plumbing, a job I thought impossible. With skill, determination and good humor (lots of humor) that problem was taken care of. I must say the pricing has always been reasonable for such a quick responding, skilled outfit. Most recently Joel came late in the evening when a mouse chewed through a pipe behind the wall in the bathroom the day we got back from a three week trip away. We’d never seen signs of mice but Joel, in good humor in spite of the late evening call out, showed us tooth marks, explained the fix and quickly made the repairs. He was also polite enough to take time listen to a couple of this old man’s hunting stories. Three weeks later (yesterday) Jesse came for a second chewed through pipe. Massive pest control measures are now in place. Jesse was not so fortunate as Joel, he had to crawl and squeeze into the crawl space under the house. He informed us of what he’d done and what his observations and recommendations were. Again, everything was done professionally at a very reasonable price. I don’t know how these guys can do this tough work with such enthusiasm and good humor.By Colin Brown (5 months ago)True Plumbers was a life saver for me and my home. Two technicians, Kent and Adrian, came out when I needed them most…AND THEY CAME AFTER HOURS. These guys were awesome. My laminate flooring was buckling and it started to spread from one area to the next, causing a water damage nightmare. The two gentlemen came out took a look and identified the source within minutes. They worked in the dark outside with very little light from their devices, to fix the source which happen to be the A/C condensation line. They flushed the system, stopped the leak, waited to make sure everything was operational, and assisted with mitigating my damages. Everything was handled with professionalism and with urgency due to the circumstances (definitely worth a bonus star). Once everything dries up, we’re definitely looking forward to True Plumbers and True Builders to come complete the job, hopefully even replacement my roof. They’re a one stop shop that does it all. Thank you again Kent and Adrian for your professionalism and extra efforts that ensured me and my family a good night’s rest. Highly recommended. So professional. I received emails to verify my appointment, then another one letting me know the tech was on the way along with a photo of what Martin looked like along with his experience. This was a first. Martin and Ethan showed up as promised, introduced themselves, asked if I wanted them to wear a mask. They did a great job on the install along with cleaning up everything. I am so glad that I chose Stuart’s for this install. It looks great and I appreciate the great job that you did. Thank you.
The technician was very knowledgeable and helpful and tried to repair the faucet before complete replacement. He did an fantastic clean up after the job was finished which my wife and I really appreciated. Although the cost seemed a little high, I would recommend them for anybody wanting quality and quick service.
Our 2006 water heater needed to be replaced. Stuart’s scheduled us for the day after I called, and the technician, Doc Crews, was great. He called to say he was on his way, sent an email with his picture, and replaced our water heater with a lovely new one that works perfectly. The charge was very reasonable, especially since he took the old water heater away.
We would definitely use Stuart’s again without hesitation.
We used Stuart’s Plumbing to install a waterline in our garage to connect to the sink that we purchased.
We were very pleased with the technician Martin from the first day he came out and gave us and estimate until completion of the job.
Martin took time to give us possible options of for placement of the sink.
This was something the other company we called didn’t do when the gave us an estimate.
On the day of installation Martin and
Justin arrived as scheduled, provided excellent customer service and performed a great. I would highly recommend Stuart’s Plumbing to my neighbors. I will be using them for all
my plumbing needs in the future.
I cannot say enough about Stuart’s Plumbing! The professionalism, excellent workmanship, and going the extra mile for us with our dilemma with our water heater and leak in pipes was outstanding! They took the time to explain things to us which was also greatly appreciated! When you need plumbing services, this company is who to go to for your needs!
