What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. A warm cozy restaurant that you can visit with friends and family. I took my two little kids for a treat Dinner and they had a great time. Food was tasty and loved by the kids too. Even for vegetarian like me there were quite a few options. The service was quite good too. Lots of desserts especially cakes to complete your meals.

  2. 2 stars for the nice ambience, creamy carbonara and gorgeous presentation. Hated the ciabatta as the the barbecue sauce was not mentioned in the menu and it was too sweet for me. Even the salad dressing was too much. As for the margarita pizza, it was too salty and not enough basil. The coffee was so so and overall the price is too expensive. The dessert was beautiful but was not a cup of my tea. The service was decent, everyone was busy due to weekend. Will not visit again.

  3. Had our brunch here and the food tasted good.

However, service from the staff were not the best. Asked for extra menus (since there’re four of us but they only gave two) and one of the waiter told me they had no more menu. However, when I asked another waitress that passed by our table after her male colleague left, she went to the counter and got me two more immediately. I was 😳 Besides, lady at the counter was not friendly either. I wanted to check the bill before paying but she gave me a look like “why would you need to check prior to paying” 😳

Liked the vibe of this patisserie/restaurant as it’s cozy and they did not play any loud or annoying music which was good.

Would like to complement on the food again as everything we ordered tasted good especially the garlic prawn pizza 💯 really lots of cheese the prawns were big and juicy. However, portion is not that big for all the food we ordered. Cakes, buns and pastry look really attractive but we were too full hence didn’t manage to try it this round.

Prices are on the higher side but since food tasted yummy I’ll let it pass. But charging the 10% service tax was not worth it as the service wasn’t really good. Hope you’ll improve on your service in the future.

  4. Love that the moment I walk into the restaurant, I’m greeted with rows of pastries and cakes on each side. Nice ambience, good food and attentive staff.
It’s on the pricey side but the taste justifies for it 🙂

  5. Found this place on Google. Nice patisserie with lots of cakes and pastries. Menu was generous too with pasta, pizza and more. All tastes good. Bought the orange butter cake as a gift, got good feedback that it’s yummy.

Food ranged from great taste(lamb rice) to barely mediocre(salmon carrot cake, wagyu beef rice), so each order is a gamble. Pastries had great taste, concepts and DECENT consistency. Price was rather steep for food, pastries and especially the drinks. Decor and ambience were pretty and tasteful, though the music was a tad loud for conversations. Service was fast and friendly which is a plus. Overall good points would be the environment, pastries and presentation of food and drinks for the gram, but suffers from overall quality of food at a premium level price point.

The food taste is average good and price is considered pricey for such cafe. A lot food on the menu are not available. The truffle pasta we ordered is tasteless. After feedback to waitress there, the cafe team really made their effort to delight you by offering to cook the food again for us and also with complimentary pastries. This type of service level can really beat restaurant in a five stars hotel. It shows they have the heart to serve customers. Thus I give 4 stars.

Did not dine in. Just visited for their famous pastries. They had very nice decorations during Christmas. The pastries look amazing with interesting flavors. I had to try the salted egg croissant and the festive peppermint chocolate croissant which were creamy and delicious. The burnt cheesecake well was, burnt. That was awful, bitter and left an uncomfortable aftertaste.

Only been to the bakery not the cafe. They are side by side. Staff was very helpful, n patient in explaining what the items are etc. More ex compared to lavender (almost double the price). Environment is clean and good. The bakes are gorgeous. Friends went crazy and bought quite a lot. Hope it tastes as good as it looks.

dined in and took away some cruffins! minus one star because the cruffins were not as flakey and buttery as i would have liked. filling had strong flavour though, and the flavour selection is very unique. dining in experience was good. a very nice space and ambience. service was good and friendly. bagel bread didn’t really taste characteristic of bagels. more reminiscent of regular bread without the texture of bagels. but filling was good. sweet chilli packed a punch and the bacon wasn’t fatty. 80% meat. pastas did not let down as they had good flavour without being overpowering – strong on the truffle for the truffle cream pasta and good garlic fragrance on the aglio olio. nothing outstanding but both good. strawberry milk was quite generous with the strawberry purée even though i think quite a bit of sugar was added. would be nicer pure.

Can taste the different flour that used to make the bread. The curry bun must try, they use the Japan curry as filling. The price at higher end. Taste not bad but probably not match the price

We love this bakery so much. The bread is so delicious. The bread so fluffy. The melon pan is crispy outside moist inside, soooo goooddd. My 18months old baby like their croissant too.

An absolute gem in the heart of Horizon Hills, we love the Japanese Pan Kobo Bakery for their innovative and oven fresh breads, rolls and cakes and for their always courteous and pleasant service. Their Rye, sourdough and rustic country breads, are a hot favourite in our family. A strong thumbs up to the ever cheerful owner Mr Tomo’s passion for his trade, and his philosophy of making limited quantities to avoid wastage and to always provide the freshest of items. Keep it up Pan Kobo !
