The homeless hang out around that area quite a bit and pan handle. Give them a dollar or two if you can. Wouldn’t you want someone to be nice to you if you were in their situation? Oh the one downfall that kept them from getting 5 stars is the fact that the parking lot is ALWAYS trashy.By Hope Galyon (2 years ago)This store is the one on middle brook and university just to clarify not the on western exclusively. New manager, trying best to have it stocked and cleaned up. Doing our best to keep people from bumming outside. I try my best to look out for all staff and customers. Every time I stop by the staff is helpful and the store is neatly stocked. It’s obvious pride is taken in maintaining the overall facility and product display. In particular, John at the register, is always friendly and professional. I’ve seen customers who aren’t always nice and he always reflects kindness. He is an outstanding example of Customer Experience!
This is my favorite Dollar General! The store is always clean, the aisles aren’t cluttered and the employees are really nice, friendly and helpful! Especially the manager Trudy and sales associate Christian! They really go above and beyond to do their jobs and are super nice!
So i guess you can no longer use the rest room even if you are a paying customer at this location. I understand how they use to have it locked and you had to ask for the key. I get that for saftey reasons but not allowing your customers access to it at all is horrible. I left my buggie of merch there and walked out. I will not be shoping there again. They where every rude about. Treat your customers better or you will not have any.
This place is horrible, unprofessional, and EVIL!!!! I am not from this states an just moved here due to a previous horrible incident. Now this, I’m not satisfied on how this place operates due to being falsely accused of stealing and trespassing. I was denied service under these false accusations. Police were called and I was informed to leave and not return on those premises. All statements are untrue, as well as corp office found discrimination in the live footage, but as for the embarrassment and humiliation my family and I had to endure will never be justified because of our race. I have PSTD and can never stop living that moment.
I had something I had to take back. I had my receipt. There was no questions ask. The lady that waited on me was really nice. The store was clean and all of the employees were really nice. Good store.
