  1. Great selection. Wait for a good sale and you can get some awesome deals. Just a little run down in some areas, but clean overall. I miss gazebo. Update 11.2022. There’s s toysrus on top floor now which is awesome for families. Mom (or dad) can shop while the kids keep busy. Just leaving without extra purchases is more difficult.

  2. They have a decent selection of items at somewhat affordable prices, depending on if there is a sale.

    We had a few questions about some of the merchandise but they weren’t staffed at the time.

    A fairly clean space with access to the bathroom through the shopping/browsing experience.

  3. There was this girl in the men’s fragrances section of Macy’s she was very helpful and informative. This is the kind of sales associate that makes my experience a happy one. I also let the manager know about the great service.

  4. Macy’s is a high end Shop in Ala Moana Centre in Hawaii. My wife bought two tops there. Like your typical male, I had to traipse around with her. It wasn’t so bad though. Large shop with plenty of variety

  5. One of the escalators was broken but there’s always the elevators as we had someone with us that can’t climb up stairs.

    Ladies in the makeup section were too bush to acknowledge us as we walked by. The toys r us on the top floor was great for the kids but no one up there to assist if we had needed help.

    I highly recommend, Jenn from the Dior makeup counter in Nordstrom. She’s the sweetest, most patient and detailed in her makeup application. I went to Hawaii for a wedding and wanted my makeup-full face done. I called Nordstrom and scheduled an appt a week in advance and I’m glad Jenn was my makeup artist. I am so pleased. She was so helpful with products to purchase after my makeup application. Thank you, beautiful!

    Went to the cafe upstairs and the food was most excellent. Then went shoe shopping with my geriatric calabash aunties. The shoe salesmen were *so* helpful for over an hour, fetching this pair and that. I love the people in Honolulu. SOOOOO warm, friendly and helpful.

    Same situation different place. Was ignored probably due to being black. and I was not helped at all in the men’s department. The workers weren’t busy and were just standing around. No one bothered to offer help or even say hi. As much money as I spent in this store I’m going to take my business elsewhere Obviously race key in this store.

    This Nordstroms plays racial favorites I have seen it and experienced it several times. I was in the store shopping yesterday for items and there were no customers in the baby section. There were three workers who ignored me. They didn’t greet me or offer me help. I was the only customer in that section for 25 minutes. Then three to six people came out of the restaurant who were a mix of asian and white and the workers immediately went over, greeted them, and asked them if they needed help. Literally bypassing me. One of the workers actually kept a distance while he watched me shop. I noticed it and passed/ stopped at a building beam to test to see if he was really watching me and he immediately showed up again leering at me. He probably thought I was going to steal something. I am a Doctor I don’t need to steal anything but more importantly I’m black. The behavior of these workers is disgusting and suggest they either are racist or have been conditions to ignore minorities who are BLACK, HISPANIC, OR OF LATIN DECENT. I cant believe Nordstroms allows this behavior from their employees. Its continuously happening. In my opinion Nordstrom DOESN’T CARE about equality when BLACK OR BROWN PEOPLE are shopping. I reported this behavior to management and honestly I don’t believe management actually cared. Seems like I wasted my words. I have been a loyal customer at Nordstroms for many years, although Nordstroms isn’t going to care I wont be shopping here anymore. I’m asking that people who believe in EQUALITY even when shopping NOT TO SHOP here until Nordstrom addresses this problem of RACIAL PROFILING and treat all customers of all races with the respect we deserve as consumers.
