  1. We installed some custom blinds after ordering them from this location, but a we encountered quite a few hiccups with the accuracy and fulfillment of our order. This being said, Spencer, who is Home Depot’s order specialist, really pulled through for us by ensuring that our orders were fulfilled correctly. We really appreciate his help in working with a very stubborn manufacturer who kept insisting the measurements that were provided by a professional installer were inaccurate. With folks like Spencer working here, I have no doubt that special orders and installs will be completed to complete satisfaction!

  2. I came in to get specific lumber for my aquaponics garden. I was having a difficult time figuring out how to read the labels on the shelves so I went to look for help.

    The 1st person that I saw that wasn’t busy and asked for help jumped at the opportunity to help. Todd was an amazing help and he even knew what aquaponics is so we were able to have a good conversation while he was helping me.

    I’m definitely going back!

  3. To those who leave a bad review of this store are just plan angry haters! I work in maintenance and have shopped at this store consistently for 5 years and you will never meet a more friendly staff! The store is always clean, organized, and well stocked.
    I shop all the other home improvement and hardware stores in the Madison area and none compare to the level of service I receive at this store and its not even close! Especially when it comes to the other major competitor. I’m consistently asked if I need any help by workers walking by me (compared to the competition who’s workers do everything to avoid eye contact)
    I would also like to acknowledge a few employees that are due for recognition.

  4. Completely out of touch. Call, see what happens. Even with YOU doing the entire checkout process yourself they still don’t have staff to answer a phone in less than 9 minutes? Now curbside requires use of an app? Profits profits profits. No service. Wearing me down. Too bad there are not any closer Lowe’s stores.

  5. This review is for their website. I placed an order over two weeks ago, it said it shipped 2 days later. 2 weeks went by and zero update, the estimated delivery date was now 2 weeks in the past and when I called in, the automated system kept reassuring me that the expected delivery date was 2 weeks ago. I finally got a hold of someone and was told the label printed, but they never sent anything. They cancelled it.

    I’ve seen several signals that Home Depot’s technology is lacking. I would expect your system to proactively catch shipments that stall for weeks or have estimated delivery dates over 14 days in the past.

    I bought a can of paint at west side Home Depot, and they gave me the wrong color. I brought to east side since I was close to there, and manager Jay(I hope I remember the right name) can give a refund but give me a discount for my purchase there. It was quite nice.

    The worst customer service I have experienced in a long time. Not only was I repeatedly ignored, but workers stopped pallets in front of my cart to talk to other coworkers, forcing me to grind to a halt and take a different path. Their layout makes little sense to someone who isn’t a contractor and without anyone to help, I simply left. Doubtful I’ll be returning.

    Found window well covers I needed, but oh my we went back & forth several times, looking for appliance to secure free standing gutter downspout. Guess I’ll McGuver with camp stakes and bungie cord. Hehe. Thankfully they stock motorized carts, clerk was so helpful, carried the window well covers as too big & awkward for cart basket. Carried to car too.

    Warranty alert here. I purchased an extended warranty 5 years ago when I purchased a refrigerator from HD with the understanding I’d have $100 returned to me if no claim was made. Getting that $100 didn’t happen but rather I received $58.50 only after two in-person trips to HD and three calls to their warranty department with a total expended time of 1.4 hours to resolve. HD you can and should do better.

    I ordered a riding lawn mower and bagger attachment online and had it shipped from the store to my house. There were some issues with the carrier but it arrived albeit a day late. I got around to putting it all together and noticed that the manuals had been out in the elements a bit but the big problem was there was no key. Sort of an important piece for a riding lawn mower. After calling the 1800 number I was told the store can sell me a key and the account can get reimbursed….not ideal. I met a lovely couple of ladies named Karen and Jodi who took care of my issue promptly and with great customer service. They got me a key and I didn’t even have to hassle with online reimbursement. Got back home and surprise surprise, the battery was nearly dead….. Uggg! Luckily it jumped and I got to mowing. So in short 2 stars for the hassles of buying a brand new mower, arriving late and having to fix before it works. Check your product before you send it out the door guys! If you are going to buy a new mower buy it in person and make sure it fires up. 6 stars for the customer service desk and the ladies that got me my key! You ladies excel at your job.
