What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. My wife and I had a very positive experience at the Home Depot, thanks to a store manager by the name of Sandy. She went out of her way to make sure we got great service. It is thoughtful , informative, and positive managers like Sandy that make customers want to return and do business with the Home Depot.

  2. I like the store but am consistently disappointed with Home Depot’s customer service. I recently ordered some tile and was notified that it was ready to be picked up. I rented a truck and called my tile installers that I was going to pick up the tile and would meet them at my home in about an hour. Upon my arrival, my order couldn’t be located. I was told that they only had 8 of the 43 boxes I had purchased. Needless to say, I was pretty upset. I asked to speak to a manager but he never came. Instead, they said that my order had probably been moved to the back somewhere. I kept checking with the customer service folks for an update but was simply told that they were still looking for it. By this time 2 hours had elapsed. Not knowing if they were ever going to find it, I called my contractor and told him that I would need to postpone the installation. Admittedly, my contractor was upset as he had placed another job assignment on hold, to complete mine. He left for that other job leaving me alone to unload 43 boxes of (heavy) tile at home by myself. Finally, after 2 1/2 hours they found the tile and loaded it in the truck. All in all, I spoke to six people about my order. The only one I didn’t speak to was the manager. I was told that he was aware of my situation but apparently didn’t feel a need to come talk to me. The saddest part of all this is that no one ever bothered to say that they were sorry for the mixup and the delay. As I mentioned at the beginning, I really like this store. However, this isn’t the first time that I’ve gotten, shall I say, “less than ideal service?” That’s really a shame. That’s how businesses lose customers.

  3. Today I went to get some essential for my home as well as for some minor repair after the storm. It appears that in order for me to use the military discount I am required to download the Home Depot app according to Arthur who is the assistant store manager at the Trenton Rd store. If you don’t want to give the discount just say so but don’t make it a requirement for veterans who don’t make daily purchases have an app they don’t use regularly. Leave that for contractors who make daily purchases I mean how hard is it for an employee to keep a card with a barcode to scan it? We as veterans already carry our IDs and it’s not hard or bothersome to do that. I’m cancelling my Home Depot card and never going there again if I can avoid since unfortunately I do have most of my power tool from there so it kind of s****.

  4. Great place to shop in peace. Yea right so I was trying to make up my mind on what to get when an employee tells me sir are you almost done I need to close this aisle. Not to mention I been there first then him and I also over heard him talking to another person and was not much help he just sent him away. Then he tells me sir you need to hurry up and get out. I understand he’s probably gonna load something on shelves but to be pressuring me to get out and not letting me decide

  5. Service is alright. I ask for something or some form of assistance and they call someone else to do it for them. That person that they call never arrives or they show up super slow.
Good thing about this Home Depot though is they always have what I want in stock anytime I need it.
    3/5

Would not allow me to return a defective air compressor 5 hours after purchase. Manager was combative from the start. Return policy states you can return for any reason up to 60 days after purchase.

Esteban Gonzalez and Raul Benitez were very knowledgeable and very professional, they both helped me placing the order since I was having trouble viewing the item online. I will definitely come back for other products.
