- Reviews:Their sales are unmatched! Especially the end of season sales. The employees are usually very helpful and polite. Managers always try to find the best way to help. Store is always clean and they do their best to keep up with customers not putting things back in the right place even during the big clearance sales. The return policy is great other than the even exchange policy. It’s kind is odd. MUST have the physical receipt to do the even exchange. Over all love this place.By Tracey Craddock (3 months ago)The staff are incredibly rude. We were not greeted when we came in, no big deal at all. Retail gets busy, very understandable. But when we greeted staff in the Cosmetics department, they did not even smile or say hello back. They just stared at me and my 13 year old daughter, clearly annoyed. We browsed around while they spoke loudly about how they disliked working there, and how people had been quitting. I honestly didn’t care about hearing that, but don’t be rude to a child when she says hello. You’re adult staff in customer service. Also, no exaggeration, I have never seen such a disorganized shoe department in my entire life. Looking for a pair of shoes was like finding a needle in a haystack. What a mess. The manager told her, “oh well, she can wait ten more minutes,” while the manager just sat there doing nothing. Also have a cousin that worked for them for over 15 years. As usual, I had absolutely no problem, and the associate who assisted me was very helpful. As I was leaving the store, I happened to see a few items that caught my eye. They were on sale, and when I got to register, I received even more of a discount because I used my kohl’s card. Feels very dirty inside the store. Makeup department isn’t stocked at all. I can’t believe they’re charging as much as they are for products while it feels like you’re picking through a ransacked store. There’s broken make-up all over the shelves, literal trash sitting on the shelves, makeup on the floor. Just really gross.
While standing in a line with at least 6 customers before me, went to restroom. A return counter with lonely employee on her phone was right there. Asked when exiting if we could check out there. Was told no. Went back, they did add an additional cashier, for a grand total of 2, about 7-8 more people behind us now. Understand employee shortages, waiting in line while someone is on their phone doing nothing, not acceptable.
Their shelves are always neat and organized. The bathrooms are stocked and clean. The only reason I gave it 4 star is because even though Sephora is inside the store; they are 2 separate entities and cannot combine coupons or promotions.
Customer service was the worst I’ve encountered here. No greeting, was stared at and one woman got me to start the interaction by raising her eyebrows at me. After explaining what I needed help with, she just said “okay?” And I had to reword over and over for her to realize I was actually needing her help. She made more faces of annoyance than speaking to me nor helping. She called someone after I asked for legitimate help and the lady that came got everything done reasonably for me, although I was told to go to customer service for this to simply be resolved. Just wasn’t a good experience, probably won’t come back.
Absolutely empty for anything home related. Went to look for curtains. Couldn’t find any. When I went to the app to see what they had and filtered it for in store, 1 curtain showed up. Really has gone downhill…. Even Gabes has better selection. Ugh so disappointing.
