I got distracted in the garden section–I just bought a home, am in the very beginning stages of unpacking, but that hasn’t stopped me from envisioning an entirely new design for the front yard. A bright red pot sat at the entrance, on clearance for a small crack that could easily be fixed with some glue, I remembered my two best friends will be flying out to visit shortly and I’d like to make one area of my new property appealing… and it all went awry from there. Peacock flowers, cannas, desert spoons, two palm trees and a whole bunch of pots and rocks, welcome to my front yard jungle. Sonia and Glenn helped me out a ton–Glenn hand-drew a diagram of how to plant the palms proper, and helped me pack this impossible-looking load into my lil hatchback. I’m pretty sure customers were taking bets on whether it would fit. Amazing service, and it all looks smashing in my yard… I just need to remove an unfortunately-placed acacia tree (I know, shame) and it’s a wrap. Next projects up are a ceramic Morrocan tiled porch and a built-in day bed in a large bay window; hoping those departments are as well staffed and stocked. 😉 *~*~*~* Added three one-year-later photos… the plants are enormous and have taken over the front yard. I purchased my refrigerator from them 3 years ago and purchased a 5 year contract. I have been trying to get my ice maker fixed for over 6 months but when you submit a claim online, (what they claim on their brochure to be an easy way to schedule service), it tells you to call. When you call, it either leaves you on indefinite hold and eventually hangs up on you or just hangs up on you. This has been going on for months so it’s not a fluke or a glitch in their system. It is on purpose to make it so they don’t have to pay out claims. What a scam. How they don’t have a class action suit against them is shocking.By David Armstrong (in the last week)Rudest laziest men I have ever seen in my life. I had 4 female cashiers helping me lift my new husky tool box into my truck. If I could give the women of this store a separate rating I would. Their customer service is always perfect and on point. The dudes there on the other hand are real losers from my experience. I bought a Traeger grill and they refused to help me lift the box into my truck. The men are generally unprofessional and play like they are busy when you ask them for help. Super sad to see from a business that sells materials so some people can make a living. If this wasn’t a constant I wouldn’t be complaining about the service at this location. Finally I would like to thank all the female employees of this store that do the actual heavy lifting. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable. Kudos to the current manager! Wpuld have dropped 5 stars but the parking lot is tiny considering most people are driving trucks there (obviously). I did have a day where I had to wait for someone to leave so that I could get out. Perhaps they’ll take this into consideration on the next parking lot restripe. All I needed was 6-12 inches more of swing space. I no longer park up front. Seems like they had Prius’s in mind when they striped the parking lot.By JT (a week ago)After 3 canceled deliveries THE DAY of the deliveries from Best Buy we had enough and switched to Home Depot . What a DIFFERENCE received dishwasher exactly as promised THE DAY of delivery was PROFESIONALLY installed by 2 polite installers and done FAST. I can tell you with 100 percent confidence BUY ALL YOUR APPLIANCES from Home Depot we live in Boulder city and the Henderson store took our order over the phone! wish we could give 10 stars !!!!! Have you ever been in a store with little too no interest in customer satisfaction? Or maybe treated like an irritation because you have questions about an expensive purchase? Well I have and this Home Depot is just that. Never mind the lack of knowledge from the staff about the items that they sell, in fact its non-existent. Or the guessing about product information? I can’t tell you the number of times I ended up with the wrong thing, resulting in another trip to get the right one. A word to all, it’s best not to go to this Home Depot anywhere near closing time regardless of importance or necessity.
This location is a bit hectic especially all the activities going on in the parking lot. They have the guys trying to get jobs helping customers with projects, a whole row of trucks selling fruit and on the side is car detailers. I have been to several home depots and this one has the least helpful employees. They act as if your bothering them.
This store is my shopping! If I’m looking for something and can’t find it? I can look up everything on my Home Depot App. I just ordered a new Love Seat 59” for my new small apt. I received it in 3 days and it was to be assembled, and I’m 70 yrs old. The FedEx driver brought it in my apartment for me and said it was very easy. I opened the box and found it very easy to read and only had to put the 4 feet on. And the arms slid on very well constructed brackets. The cushions were hidden in the underside with a Velcro removable cover to fasten back for storage. It took me 30 minutes and I glared at my new beautiful Beige roll armed love seat. Home Depot is the only company who could get me a roll armed 5” couch for a great price. Thanks Home Depot you came through from r me as usual. Here’s a photo with my blanket on it to relax on.
Irene and Collette were incredibly helpful and kind during a very busy day for them. I appreciate them helping me place an order for pick up at a different store when they didn’t have the item i needed in store. Thank you for the great customer service!!!
4/16/23 I called twice today, first time on hold for quite awhile then was disconected. Called back on hold for 20 minutes. Trying to buy and get information on a garbaged disposal. Lady had no clue. I kept asking to speak to someone who did. What is going on with this store. I shop here regularly, customer service has gone down hill here too. Bought a dishwasher here 3 years ago and it burned up. Did not receive any help!
