What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. Such a good and intresting food place to try. Their special menu is ‘Sup Tulang Gearbox’ with affordable price. The taste is nice and more tu soup utara version. Other than that, they also served ‘masakan panas’. Surprisingly, you can order this masakan panas on the afternoon.

The environment is surrounded by the tree, with many availabe seats and tables. Live band also they have and on my visit, they entertained us very well, can request song by the way.

The parking is easy. There are spacious parking area in front of the street

  2. Had their nasi goreng and sup tulang gearbox and they were the best sup tulang i have ever had! Portion is so big for their cheap price. Fast and friendly service with nice ambiance. All they need to improve is better lighting at night.

  3. Came here for early dinner. Heard lotsa wonderful review about their soup so order one sup tulang. Service is fast, self order via QR code. Soup is piping hot and delicious. Careful with the soup as it is hot. The bone however, is hard and chewy. They should cook the bone longer.

  4. The taste was okay. we ordered the sup daging with nasi putih and 2 mee rebus. the sup daging was plain in taste but acceptable yet have to add on the sambal kicap to make it perfect. it is a little bit too oily so when you put the soup on the rice, the flavour is more too oily tawar rather than rasa rempah sup. the mee rebus was good . the drinks was good too. the service was excellent they used the qr code payment. they do provide parking space near the restaurant. it is quite difficult to search for the restaurant if you doesn’t use any navigation apps so please use waze. our total price for the foods was rm46.60 including sst

  5. ZZ Sup Tulang Restaurant has its own uniqueness and creative work. Employees combine the traditional concept by using a variety of trees and the modern concept that uses the use of lights that attract the attention of customers. Next, the special food which is bone soup is very popular because it has an aroma that entices customers to taste it. In addition, the cleanliness level of the restaurant is very good. The friendly service of employees to customers is really solid. Finally, the price of each food provided is very reasonable. I recommend this restaurant to any customer who is hungry but doesn’t know what to eat.

Everything was delicious here! 1. Kacang Pool Daging & Kambing were really good that we ordered another set to eat before we went back 🙈😅😋 2. Lontong Kering is really yummy for me. I like how the shredded coconut, tempeh, rendang etc tasted together when eaten with the lontong 💯 3. Lontong Goreng somehow reminded me of the Chinese Friend Carrot Cake that you’ll get at pasar malam? 😅 but this is nicer as it as chicken meat and some other vegetables in it 4. Nasi Ambeng is very similar to lontong kering, just that it is served with rice instead of ketupat but the special part was nasi ambeng is also served with some mee goreng at the side 5. Mee rebus is on the sweet side and the kuah ain’t that much too. It’s different as compared to Melaka’s mee rebus (which is slightly spicer, not so sweet). Overall a very hearty and delicious meal! 💯

My must eat food when I visit JB. I come across kacang pool when I’m during research what is something special in JB. My 1st time was at another store in Anjung Selera Larkin (not sure izzit the same owner) due to during puasa period they are not operating at the hour I visit. This round I able to try other dishes such as Lontong Kering & Lontong Goreng. During my visit, I’m the only chinese while the other are local Johorean. I highly recommend Chinese must try this speciality food you can find in JB. I ordered both Kacang Pool Daging & Kambing, but both taste is pretty similar, can choose based on own preference. If 1 toast is not enough, can add on at RM1. Lontong Goreng taste & look a bit familiar with chinese fried radish cake. However I like this one as it’s very soft & come with tauge & chicken meat. The taste is not too heavy but very addicted to eat. Lontong Kering is so good! The rice cake which is same with the fried one, very soft texture & not those very hard to chew. The rendang gravy is so good, I would be happy to pair it with Nasi Lemak. The tempeh is also come with soft texture. They accept TNGo ewallet.

One of the famous place of Kacang Pool Haji. I considered myself had tried many KPH at JB area. But when it comes to the original place. Its different. No need to Review more. You should try the foods here. Might be crowded during the peak hour. But dont worry they all serve you fast.

Our second time breakfast with Kacang Pool Haji. This time somewhere else which known as the main restaurant. Got variety of foods. Mee Rebus, Lontong and more. Don’t forget the award winning, Kacang Pool with beef or lamb 😉. Its a worth travelling to this place as its all gooooooood.

I would say this is one of the best places to try Johor – style breakfast. Lontong Kering is my absolute favourite besides Nasi Ambeng, Mi Rebus and Kacang Pool are delicious too. Do give a try if you come to JB. Despite the number of customers coming in and out, the order doesn’t take long and the staff are super helpful and friendly. The parking place however is another story – you definitely need your luck to get your car park especially during rainy days

The food was good and the drinks were nice, considering that I arrived at 1.30 am and the service is still fast with a full house I say they have great service. You got all kinds of western and local cuisine, Shisha and live music. This is the best place to bring people to chill with. But the price is quite steep so be mindful of what you want to eat.

Good spot to eat when you’re having midnight craving at 2 3 am as others restaurants are closed. Wide variety of food but some are not available due to the timing. Tried their kunafa & cantonese KT and it was good. Reasonable waiting time, service is good.

Food is so so. The price quite expensive. Quite upscale place here. Their waiter and manager quite helpful and friendly. Recommend to try mee goreng mamak here. Waiting time for food is around 10 to 15 minutes. Parking quite hassle. Sometimes this restaurant very crowded. Got busker here. Customer can ask from busker to sing inside this restaurant.

It was refreshing. There was a live band and the girl singing her vocals was so superb. But when she went around collecting tips, there were some customers who refused to pay…. cmon ppl, this is raw talent at work, give some respect to yourself!! Ordered chicken shop with black pepper sauce and mushroom soup with garlic bread. Both made to perfection. Simple dinner with so much satisfaction. Go try it!!!
