  1. Really great local Ace. Went here to get a few things. Store organized, staff very friendly, and most importantly, easy to get the items you need! Went to get some batteries, easy to locate, and got a battery tester which was also easy to locate as well. The help center they have there has really nice staff too. And checkout was quick and easy also. So, all in all, great local Ace. Will be back! Thanks Ace!

  2. I go here often and I always have a pleasant experience. Staff is helpful but not pushy. The whole vibe of the place is positive and, considering the area, that’s not easy to do.

  4. Recommended CLR as a rust cleaner …. it didn’t satisfy my rusting tools! Navel jelly? Rustoleum rust remover??
    The fact is their floor staff didn’t have a good product for heavy rusted items. Soaking for hours and or days is not the best consumer solution !!!! Call a manufacturer agent if necessary !!!

  5. Ace’s hardware staff are very helpful. Their selection of fasteners, tools, and other home/outdoor equipment is unmatched. I found what I needed with some help in less than 5 minutes. Their staff made my part trip very quick!

    Outstanding customer service. The staff at the front counter were exceptionally friendly and the gentlemen who helped me find what I was looking for was extremely helpful. This type of service does not exist in Home Depot. Will be back.

    This place is really cool, I came here for tubing for a project at work. The first thing I did was look around and then I asked. They showed me too the back where all the tubing was hanging up. I asked if I could grab the pump I was using the tubing for so I could match it and they didn’t mind. So I did that and we had to cut the tubing which was really hard and took a few tools and a few people but they helped me out and got it done. I had a list of other things that I ended up asking for help with and they helped me with the entire thing. I would definitely go here if you know what your looking for as they know where everything is.

    We purchased a wheelbarrow and arranged to have it delivered to our home. A&A said a lady would call us on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday to schedule delivery of the wheelbarrow. By Wednesday morning when we had not heard from them, we called them & they informed us they had sold the wheelbarrow we bought to someone else. They didn’t seem interested in doing anything to make up for their mistake. We do not plan on shopping there again.

    I’m a bit biased here because this particular hardware store is a part of my heritage. Some of my earliest memories are of visiting this location with my grandfather. Recollections burned into my cherished memory bank, of a time passed, a lost mentor, exploring the caverns of endless opportunities and possibilities driven by creative imagination and powered by grandfather’s knowledge of all the important things to a young boy. Bins of bolts, wire, racks of pipes and coils, and a tumbler of tools that one day I too would know how to use. It’s the same place, friendly, familiar, and anything a boy, a man, or a grandfather needs. Moms and daughters too. Homeowners’ resources are everywhere at AandA, businesses will never be disappointed as well. Completely the same as when this 52-year-old washed-up racer looked through his Englewood native eyes in 1973, however modernized for convenience with the selection of everything mechanical, structural, or natural than anyone would expect to fit in a space its size The tradin’post ain’t no box store.. its a legacy of creativity and hometown honesty and integrity. I’ll never forget him, and he knew everything! “AnA has everything we’ll need” grandpa said. They still do RIP-Don Styes
