  1. This is a small hardware store. And there jingle holds true. They have always been helpful and friendly. I live near here and when ever I need a quick something I go here to pick it up. I’ve gotten everything from dirt to kids chairs to suction cups to a Yeti travel cup. They seem to have a little bit of everything. They have a seasonal section, even a pet section.

  2. If you need it they pretty much have it. Needed a door knob that is probably 50 years replaced and is not like the standard ones now. One of the older employees went right to it. Thank goodness or we probably would have had to replace the door and it would have had to be special made. Great store and staff.

  3. Ace Hardware has a novel was of handling construction materials customers. They provide one on one shopping experiences. Almost like having your own personal expert shopper the moment you walk in the door. Why doesn’t the 2 Mega hardware chains do this? I don’t know. It’s like Ace actually screens their hires and selects those who are knowledgeable and willing to help. Have you ever tried to find a department associate at the mega stores? Kind of like Where’s Waldo. At what cost do you get such service you say? Well, best I can tell, Ace prices at the same as the mega stores. So, why shop at the mega stores? I don’t know. After all, Ace is the place with the helpful hardware man.

  4. If I could give no stars I would. I went there with my nephew and his father wearing my work clothes and was Browsing before I grabbed paint from these guys and they made it very obvious that they were profiling us as we were doing so They came up to us multiple times and asked us if we needed help and to inform us that the shop closes soon which wasn’t true we had an hour and 10 minutes When My friend and I both expressed that we are feeling Uncomfortable they went ahead and told us that we were throwing red flags for browsing the store. I understand you have to do your job and work on lost prevention, but when we both expressed Our concern they went ahead and continue to profile even harder. Not if they care but was planning on buying all my PVC there to build my pond and my buddy grabbed paint PN other hand tools that they only sell. So maybe next time they can get off their high horses and be a little less aggressive with it. Maybe next time I’ll ask the old geezer to hold my hand when I come in so I don’t go all crazy stealing with my nephew lol

  5. Had an amazing white glove experience with my recent purchase of a Traeger 575 pellet smoker and Weber Spirit 2 burner grill. I haven’t shopped Ace much since the nearby Deptford location closed, but I was browsing for these items when I saw that they offered free assembly and delivery of both items. At checkout, I got another nice surprise that they would take away my old grill for free!

    Delivery was on-time and quick, and the assembly was flawless. Used the grill that evening for dinner and worked perfectly. So convenient, I will think of them for future purchases!

    Post Ace Hardware is best hardware store ! I’ve never met a more friendly and helpful staff. I walked in and was greeted with so many hellos and smiles, the staff made me feel right at home. They stock everything and they get order, build and delivery any model of Weber grill that’s produced. I ordered a Special edition weber that cannot be bought at the bigger chains. Dan noticed a small scratch on my grill lid and pointed it out to me immediately. He ordered a new lid and still delivered the grill because he knew I was excited to start grilling. No other store would have done that. Thanks again Dan. Thanks Post Ace Hardware staff for making my shopping experience like the good old days. John Stamler

    Great selection of grills, which is what we came there for (a Traeger specifically). They have a selection of grills you won’t find in big box stores like Home Depot. It’s become our go-to hardware and paint store since then. They have a great Yeti section too. Ton’s of quality items packed into this store. Highly recommend for anyone in the area looking for quality appliances, paint, and hardware.

    Hard to find smaller local hardware stores…it is important to shop local when u can, chain store close our old , well known stores. So I Love ACE , employees and even management helped me on a return with no receipt. Above and beyond..If they so have they will order..why go to a chain store and see places like this close up. Ace in Somerville by 7/11. Love you guys
