- Reviews:The worst experience of any Home Depot store I’ve visited. I needed a key made and waited 15 mins even after the nice PRO checkout associate called for assistance 3 times. Only to be told they couldn’t make the key and it wasn’t in stock. Staffing and customer awareness definitely needs improvement.By Kendall Brooks (5 months ago)Associates rarely ask if you need assistance. On the rare occasion you do get asked, you get told they will contact someone but end up standing there waiting and forgotten. Floor associates tend to avoid eye contact with customers as well. We needed a specific key copied that the automatic machine wouldn’t recognize and went through three associates before finally getting someone to help out-keep in mind this was just another random associate who happened to walk by that we asked for help. I understand associates may be busy doing other tasks and different people work in different departments but standing and waiting for over 40 minutes to copy a key that took less than 2 minutes was ridiculous. He helped me find a color match to my existing carpet and order it online for installation. Edit: Carpet was installed and it’s the wrong color. The COS of the store refuses to call me back and fix the carpet. Absolute worst customer service and will not own up to their mistakes.By Abbey Mullet (a month ago)Excellent service, we needed to buy some unique wire to make a repair at a customers house and get a couple very unique parts that I was not very familiar with. The guy in the electrical department was so knowledgeable and helpful that it was one of the best experiences I’ve had at Home Depot and I’ve had a lot of great experiences. Honestly, I wish there was more. Home Depot is available in Charlotte and I do shop at Lowe’s also because they’re readily more available at Home Depot does not have as big of a footprint in this area. However, they have always been one of my favorite places to go from kitchen cabinets, flooring, lumber, building materials, you name it I feel Home Depot from a customers perspective has a significant edge over their competition. The fact that they invest in hiring people who aren’t necessarily priorly license at what they do, but most certainly have real life experience. Like I said, I really didn’t know what I was getting into and not only did he help me find the parts, but he explain to me what he would do if he was doing what I described to him. And Wala it worked perfectly. I especially appreciate him, showing me about a product called “heat shrink” It’s a material that you apply heat to, and it shrinks over your newly repaired electrical connection. I looked at it, the same way a caveman would’ve looked at a Bic lighter, lol! It’s really need, it keeps moisture out and man does it look very professional. Thank you Home Depot, do you not only saved my butt but I just wanted to let you guys know how much I appreciate the staff at that particular location especially. ❤️By Chris Wendt (2 months ago)Do not make purchases from Home Depot. I called twice to file a complaint about the service I received and the damage that their delivery team did and both times the rep hung up on me. Fairly well-stocked and our visit was to get some landscaping items. Lots of product and ideas to make your yard beautiful. The staff was helpful. One of our purchases was over-priced in the computer compared to an advertised sign on the product and customer service corrected the issue and refunded the difference without any hassle. Good customer service.
Purchase my first home is 2019. Now I am working on my DYI list. They always have what I a looking for reasonable prices. I was able to finish all of my front and back yard landscaping with product purchase from Home Depot
This is one of the cleanest and best Home Depot’s I’ve ever been to!! Super super helpful staff all so friendly and actually helping and working. I don’t review Home Depot much but this one was really worth the time. Especially the Jamaican Lady at customer service desk!! She’s so sweet and helpful always looking out for everyone and everything. I must say the price of wire went up DRASTICALLY!!!! 😜😜😜🤦🏻♂️. Best Home Depot experience I’ve had yett seriously love this one, that and they have a super fire buffet in the corner of the same plaza!! River buffet!!! Unbelievably good and all you can eat lunch for $11!! Trust me that’s 🔥 for how good this food was!! Great experience from this Ohioan!!
Nice store, helpful staff! They were happy to help & knowledgeable about their products. This isn’t the biggest Home Depot, but if you’re like me, I prefer a smaller, friendly store.
If you want a bigger selection, there are larger branches within 15-20 min of this one
I won’t give credit for this store doing what it’s supposed to do.. But I will point out it not doing what it’s supposed to do.
As a frequent paying customer that does vendor work I spend quit a bit of money at Home Depot and it’s competition.. Usually Home Depot is spot on in various locations, but this particular store never has anyone available to cut blinds. 🤦🏿♂️.. Like how hard is it to cross train a few people to be able to meet such a small but important need of vendors?
