I always get the same thing: – crab Rangoon with the egg roll sauce – panang curry chicken – beef pad Thai – peanut chicken – side of white rice When ordering it’s so hard to order something new because I’m always craving that specific order. Every now and then I switch for the pad kee mao beef without basil, su mai, or the duck but it’s rare! Also for the price you get a nice portion. My family of three can eat it for two days with leftovers! Without a doubt, The Thai House of Bloomington is superior. My favorites are Panang with Chicken, Pad Thai, and Pad Kee Moa. We have had the pleasure of eating in house (prior to covid) and take out. - Reviews:This is my first time back since the pandemic and I saw a distinct difference in the quality. This used to be a 5 star would recommend to my friends place but now its just mediocre. The service was okay but the chef was very low energy and hard to hear as they spoke so low. The food itself was good for the most part the soup was watery and lacking flavor the salad was wilted. The hibachi itsself was good and I have no complaints about its quality other then it used to be better. Overall, not awful but not what it used to be. Being gluten free I avoid Asian cuisine because of the soy sauce but they had gluten free options for chicken fried rice and Chicken Hibachi! I got the chicken fried rice and it was really good! The broth could of had just a touch more seasoning, but it was good. The cheese rangoo was good and the calamari had good flavor but it was just a little more on the chewy side. The Dragon Roll was also very good. We both got The Triple, what we got was very tasty also, all the meat was very tender. And now suddenly there is an $8 charge cause they are sharing. This is a little much. I can understand a few dollars, but $8 is a bit much. Ordered the Farm to Face sushi roll and then ordered the Miso Honey Salmon dinner. It was MOUTHWATERING and to die for! I can not say enough about this place except that you have to go!
These meals are beyond spectacular!! Each bite is like a party in your mouth and just so fresh and worth it.
You will be blown away with the quality of food that you receive here.
Came with friends for an early dinner, seated immediately. Ordered a tamago hand roll and Gimbap sushi roll, with a ginger sunrise mocktail; they all tasted fantastic. Finished with Spiced Beet Cake for dessert.
Such a cool restaurant! I love sushi, but my husband isn’t a huge fan so he was super pumped they had pizza on the menu. Sarah was our server and she was so great! Service was speedy and the ambiance was spot on for a birthday dinner that wasn’t over the top. I wore leggings/workout gear and felt completely appropriate. Definitely delicious and a spot worth checking out.
We ordered char siu, chicken wings, and the cornflake boneless chicken thighs. All three were a strike. The thighs were grisly, the wings were undercooked, and the pork in the sushi was overcooked. We also tried and hot and sweet sauce for the wings, but it was not very tasty. It had a very distinct chili powder and oily taste. We will stick with the korean bbq sauce. We eat here quite often and have always had good food and great selection of draught on tap. The hostess was dress like she just came from the gym. The bartender was very good and attentive. We will come again but last night the kitchen struckout.
Really cool little spot above Epiphany Farms. The dumplings and Ramen were very good and the bar tender was very friendly and made me a great old fashioned!
