  1. Not bad, but not as good as it used to be! Our server was great and the other employees were nice! The prices are too high for the lackluster experience there is now. Not a bad place but would not be my first recommendation, but would at least recommend it.

  2. Really wish you could give zero stars. I wish we only had one bad thing to say but unfortunately that wasn’t the case.
    Walked in and got cut off by the hostess then was saved by a nice man in a blue shirt (he was the only good part about this whole experience). Sat down at a sticky table in the aisle of everyone walking by and were given some sticky menus. How gross!
    Walked up to fill our bowls with the most unique toppings- cilantro, huge pieces of salmon, etc (helps to clearly see which one is yours as to not get mixed up with others). Not the case of course. But since Covid, they make you sit back down and leave your food unattended in hopes they bring back the correct plate of food to you.
    We were bought a plate of food with everything opposite of what I had and our other bowl was missing. The waitress had us walk back up with her as another server brought back almost 5-7 plates that all came back wrong/messed up. None of which were ours. How can it be that difficult? You are given numbers to place your food, you are given tickets to match your food WITH your name and table.
    With an incompetent staff, a disgusting environment, and no food- needless to say we left. Ridiculous.

  3. 4 of us visited around noon on a Saturday. We had a very good waitress named Kris who was very attentive checking on us frequently. We had appetizers, make your own bowl entrees and dessert. Everyone enjoyed the food very much. We will definitely be back.

  4. Seriously the best stir fry place around. We drive an hour to go there! Only place where you can get steak and wild salmon and bacon and sausage or whatever meat combo you want with like a million different veggie options. (They also have a ton of veggie meat options besides tofu for the vegetarians out there). The low carb life lover in me loves that they have cauliflower rice! Plus unlike flattop they have a huge appetizer selection including hummus. We love the whole experience and my husband loves being able to refill his bowl a million times with the unlimited option. My son is obsessed with all the lemonade flavors and my husband loves that they have a nice beer selection. We had Anna today and she was great. My son was crazy happy to be able to watch them make his food and go ring the gong. It’s the little things. PLEASE OPEN ONE NEAR ME IN Buffalo Grove!

  5. If you’re for whatever reason afraid of infinite bowl building (or you’re, you know, not even capable of finishing this bowl of ramen), the menu items are really nice. Loved those pot stickers especially, and my ramen was nice. Jenny is a great, friendly server

    Easy sushi and teriyaki. Food is always impeccable. I just tried the tuna pike bowl with creamy ginger sauce. Very tasty but sauce could use more ginger. Excellent service! Plenty of parking.

    The food was good, but slightly overpriced (not much, but a couple bucks higher for the quality in my opinion). The waitress was very friendly, came around quite often to check on us. The music was ok. But my fiance and I both agreed that it felt like a bit more hipster atmosphere than a sushi restaurant. The music was like a top 10 Playlist. Overall though, the food was good, and we will definitely be back another time!

    Unfortunately my experience here wasn’t great. I will say service was decent, but I didn’t get a single refill on my drink, nor did she ask. We ordered the ceviche which isn’t ceviche? It’s a pile of unseasoned fish, with a sauce called “Ceviche”? Which isn’t acidic and doesn’t cook the fish?? It’s a mayo sauce so it just tasted like poke bowl in desperate need of rice. We got three rolls. The entire sushi menu seems incredibly repetitive with the same ingredients. We got our rolls and the amount of eel sauce absolutely overwhelmed any other flavors in the dish. I wasn’t impressed. 3/5

    Such a cute little place for a quick, nice dinner! Super fast too! We ordered drinks, and 3 rolls and we’re out the door in 30 min tops. Our waitress was really sweet, and attentive. We will definitely be back for a week night date.

    Ordered from their new ghost kitchen avondale location and was not disappointed. Presentation is good. Flavor 10/10. Good portions for a good price. You cant go wrong ordering from them. Will def be ordering from them again.

    I usually order for delivery at my work but since I was in the area today I called an order for take out 2/4/2023. As I arrived inside the place smelled like there was sewage backing up somewhere. Strong gas like smell everywhere. I figured hopefully someone is taking care of the plumbing issue. I order a large combination rice and two egg rolls. Once I arrived home I was really really disappointed that the rice was stuck together gummy and over cooked. Absolutely no flavor just mush🤮🤮🤮. I immediately call spoke with a staff member Sam who advised that their system won’t allow him to process a refund. Very disappointed dissatisfied and upset. Not sure if maybe they are under new management or bad chef either of which I will never eat from here again. The chef plus the person who package knew this food was prepared wrong and still sold it to me really good customer that will never order from there again.

    Got the Basil lunch special. It was one of the ones NOT labeled spicy. It had pepper seeds throughout. I would have asked for no spicy or ordered something else. I love spicy, but have had to cut back due to heartburn. Everything we had was delicious. They’re vegetable egg rolls are the best I’ve ever had, and they’re huge! I considered ordering some fried spring rolls (they have taro). Maybe next time. Food was cooked perfectly, not salty, and delivered quick. Prices are good. Quality is good. Portions are generous. There are many vegetarian/vegan options.

    Don’t bother coming here. Rude and slow service. Walked into the restaurant and didn’t even acknowledge us, didn’t tell us where to sit, didn’t give us a menu, didn’t take our order til we asked. The guy there yelled at my mom to hurry up with her order. Don’t know why he was so impatient, they werent even busy, and honestly they never are, which is becoming obvious why they’re not. Even if you are busy, you don’t yell at someone to give you their order. Don’t come here if you want a pleasant dining experience. Don’t work in hospitality if you’re gonna be rude.

    First time ordering here would never do it again. Order shrimp fried rice yesterday at 8:26pm 12/09/22 My boyfriend went to pick our rice up and they made three meat combinations. Told them we want shrimp rice. Had to wait for them to remake it. Once my boyfriend got home I tried the rice not fresh at all rice tasted old and the rice was hard. The container they use doesn’t even look like a large shrimp fried rice. Call them today at 1:33pm 12/10/2022 spoke to Jeff the manager. For one they do not know how to communicate with customers. Explained to Jeff what was going on after going back and forth with him about the food not being fresh and the rice was hard. Jeff asked me “so what did I want to do “ I asked for them to remake it or get a refund simple told me no! I’ll stick to ordering from golden gate there large shrimp fried rice feeds a family of 5.

    Had 3 pho bowls, an order of fried egg rolls, and 2 smoothies. Waiter did not give a receipt and when I went back in the receipt he showed had an $11 service charge and the total was $81.00 for 3 people. Also while we were eating the server started mopping the floor with a wet mop. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone and will not return
