  1. Always crazy long lines, but pretty solid selection for a dollar store (not a bunch of stuff that is actually priced for a dollar, but 99 cent stores seem to be a thing of the past…)
    If you want a discounted product and are willing to wait a bit to ring it up, the time it takes to purchase reminds me of the saying, “you get what you pay for”.

  2. You can get literally anything in this store. Be nice is the main thing you ask the employees they will show you where whatever you are looking for is. I’ve seen all the negative reviews from a bunch of KENS & KARENS. Brush that sh*t off! This is NOLA you take your life in your hands wherever you go. Be it Arizona, Texas, NY, Florida! All places the same and all places are dangerous.

  4. It’s a convenience to have a small market in this neighborhood, prices are not always accurate and management sucks. But like I said it’s convenient.

    Always a line. Dusty. Poorly lit. Sells a lot of stuff that is probably toxic to humans. You shop there and no matter how privileged you actually are, you’ll feel like you’ve experienced oppression, even if it was only while you were in there. The whole business is just thinly veiled exploitation of people who can’t make it to a real grocery store easily. This place makes me want to organize transportation to Winn Dixie and Rouses for all of my neighbors who need it.

    The store has really cleaned up itself. No more long lines and unprofessional workers. They actually have shopping baskets now and don’t treat you like a criminal. You can definitely tell they change staff and management and boy did this change everyone’s shopping experience. You can come here now. They have workers that actually work and don’t sit on their phones all day and FaceTime each other. Whoever is responsible thanks for stepping in. This is a really good spot on broad to have a business. And it’s good to have a dollar store around. For anybody Complaining about this place you really don’t know how far they have come in just a short period of time.Thanks again

    It was amazing I found my Christmas cookies that I absolutely love that I could not find anywhere so I am amazed with this Dollar general

    The store looked like it was going out of business in terms of having bare shelves. The food and Christmas sections were well stocked but other merchandise, not so much. I really didn’t interact with the staff so I can’t comment on service. I did observe the cashier without a face covering.
