- Reviews:Bizarrely opulant pharmacy. Pricing felt pretty average however. Staff are incredibly helpful. Even as an English speaker they really went above and beyond. Wait times are short as it is well staffed. Usually 3/4 on tills at any time. More than supermarkets.By D G (6 years ago)Founded as the oldest pharmacy in GermanyBy Edin H. (11 months ago)Very friendly staff, no wait. The pharmacist took her time to explain the needed medication and how to take it.By Jannik Haskamp (6 years ago)OkBy L P (6 years ago)The best pharmacy in Trier. Technically competent staff, friendly and customer-oriented reception, well stocked and if a drug is not in stock, it is quickly procured. This is how a pharmacy should be. Even if it is not possible to park in front of the pharmacy, it is still completely uncomplicated to park in the nearby multi-storey car parks or in the center of Trier. Not only well served but pleased in one of the most beautiful pharmacies in GermanyBy Dr. J. Klein (4 months ago)

- Reviews:Extremely unfriendly bigot racist woman who attended me. One of the few really uncomfortable moments I’ve had in Germany so far. Yes my German is bad but I’m trying, this person was making faces to me even before I opened my mouth. Terrible disappointing experience.By Ricardo Alcala (4 years ago)They got the good stuff. Cough drops, paper tissues, rachendrachen.By Veit Kegel (3 years ago)So far I have always been well advised and well informed about dosages. I was also offered cheaper alternative preparations. Gladly again!By M. F. (4 months ago)Redeem a prescription for painkillers here after a tooth extraction, felt treated unfriendly. Had to ask about the dosage, which I was then told and written down, with the rough note that you can also read about it yourself in the package leaflet. Felt like I had to apologize for asking this… I was in pain… service desert I hope others will be treated more kindly and helpfully. I am happy to add the receipt as proof.By Sonne Zeit (8 months ago)Recurrent unfriendly behavior. Instead of helping you, they start lecturing you with their unwanted opinions.By Diana G. R. Thank you for reading! If you have any additional information on the best Pharmacy in Trier, please leave a comment below. We would love to hear from you!
This is a fabulous pharmacy, with everything you could ever want except CUSTOMER SERVICE. It is very unwelcoming as there is a security man on the shop floor staring at your every move as though you are about to steal something, so it is not a relaxed environment where you can leisurely look at the products and make your purchase but one where you must very quickly decide and go to the checkout.
The elderly lady owner of the store is also there, but not to assist you, only to tell you to hurry on and make your purchase or leave the store. Not to mention she laughed at me for not speaking German and then called her security man.
REALLY upset my day visiting this pharmacy and I will NOT return. My advise is get rid of the security man and have two pleasant shop assistants on the floor to help customers with queries.
Terrible experience as a non-German tourist. An elderly women did not speak any English but was very hostile to our foreign faces. She followed my kids step by step while they did nothing as any other regular shoppers. When they picked up a flavor of mentos, she even grabbed them out of their hands which made the kids so scared by her. She was also calling us names and yelled at us in front of everyone. We were told that there would be no use even if we would complain to the manager because this elderly woman is his mother.
Very big pharmacie. But, do not touch anything!!! You are not allowed to have a look and read the products on the shelfs. Bear in mind staff only speak German.
Customer service is catastrophic!
Guard is watching and following you and you are not allowed to read details of products. You will feel very uncomfortable looking at the products on the shelfs!
Especially if you are not German!
Even if you buy and spend a lot of money it won’t change their behavior! Don’t go there!!!
Worst place in the area. No conduct and not professional at all!
In Trier, some pharmacies in the city center no longer seem to exist, so we entered the pharmacy on the Kornmarkt for the first time.
Apparently, word of the current Corona rules hasn’t gotten around to this point, you can also insist that a mask is still worn (we do it most of the time anyway). Even in the worst Corona times, you have to stick to an entry and exit route. Also good.
What is less good now is the usual tone and appearance in this house. When entering the pharmacy, a young man barked at us from a distance of several meters: “We have to wear masks here, put them on!” Normally you don’t bully loudly through the whole store, especially not if you are not identified as an employee of the pharmacy.
A very rude tone. Here one notices quite clearly the shortage of skilled workers and all the more the lack of a nursery. behavior hit or miss.
But what tops the whole thing off is that this employee interrupted a customer conversation that had obviously been going on for a long time with two people who weren’t wearing a mask! We then took the liberty of asking whether there were two types of customers – whereupon masks were issued to those concerned at the expense of the house. Service to taste – what do you have to be to enjoy these privileges?
Furthermore, in front of the employee serving there, the queue at the counter was instructed in a harsh tone to “queue on the left”, there was an entry and exit path.
After this greeting, we completely lacked the desire to expose ourselves to another proletarian appearance and we left this pharmacy without having lost anything.
It is very obvious that someone here is too spoiled for success and does not need to display appropriate social behavior. Even if someone doesn’t do something quite right (which was questionable, though), it’s a cheek to take the liberty of adopting this tone. The shop owner doesn’t seem to be very choosy about hiring his staff – as a number of other reviews make clear.
We were certainly the first and the last time in this third-rate facility.
