- Reviews:I had a really good experience at the store tonight. The associate who helped me was Gerard. He was so clear and so fast to give me the information that I needed. He also helped me set up my new phone very thoroughly. I got a chance to talk to some of the other associates, and they are all great, in my opinion. Just as the store was about to close, I saw a customer come in, who was very demanding and disrespectful. The Verizon associates were very respectful and clear with him, even though he was just way off base. I felt very inspired by how they were dealing with this narcissist. Having spent some time with these associates, I really do believe that they are there to do their best work and give the best service possible. Ideally, it seems like it would be best to make an appointment to come into the store. This is because, they really do want to take the time to handle all the customer concerns without keeping people waiting. Honestly, this is now one of my favorite stores on the upper west side. I was worried when I read the reviews, so I braced myself to expect the worst. To my pleasant surprise, I had a fantastic 5 star experience due to the representative who helped me. David met me at the entrance and asked how he could help. I explained my situation, and he immediately started parsing the situation, running numbers, optimizing the possibilities, calculating what special offers would work for me, etc. He went all-out on my behalf. I’m sure I repeated some questions several times, yet David maintained a friendly, professional and courteous demeanor. He never rushed me, never tried to pressure or upsell me. He laid out several scenarios, explained the pros and cons, and gave me the space to decide. We were probably working on the situation for close to two hours by then, so I needed some time to think about what scenario to choose. He was completely fine with me returning whenever I had decided, or had more questions. I went back the next day, and David patiently reviewed the details for my benefit, and double checked all the numbers to make sure everything would be just as we discussed. In the end, David turned my complex situation into a great solution for me. Verizon managers: David de la R. made this a 5 star Verizon experience. He’s worth his weight in gold! It is a really beautiful store. The ambiance and its layout offer customer privacy while allowing browsers freedom to roam. The store is well merchandised offering a myriad of impulse tech gadgets, multiple mobile device brands, etc. This location seems to be well staffed after all Herald Square is a very busy area.By Virginia Benedict (4 years ago)Worst customer service ever. Was unable to receive voice messages. After I informed them I was not buying a new phone they seemed completely uminterested in helping. The manager told me it would cost me $30 to see what was wrong with my phone. After calling the helpline they were able to receive my voice messages. She hand me the phone and walked away. I was not able to access my voice messages. Went to another Verizon store on 23rd Street they were able to fix it right away. Not only did this worker take the time to understand my needs and concerns, but they also went out of their way to find a solution that met my specific requirements. They were patient, attentive, and truly listened to what I had to say, which made me feel valued and respected as a customer.
What stood out to me the most, however, was this worker’s willingness to go above and beyond to ensure that I was satisfied with the outcome. They were proactive in their approach, anticipating potential issues and offering solutions before I even had to ask. This level of attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction is truly rare in today’s fast-paced world, and I am grateful for the exceptional service that I received.

I was moving to a new apartment last year and visited this store. Everyone was respectful and very helpful. I didn’t feel rushed. I promised myself that I would return when the time came to trade in my phone. I was there today and they did not disappoint. All of my very many questions were answered. I also got a great deal on my new phone! Satisfied customer.
