I have been to several and in different states and they offer the best prices on the things they bring in and the staff is always pleasant and helpful. Never been to one so I had some time to kill. Store was very dirty and not arranged well. It felt like a thrift store.
The store was nice and clean, but the clothes was not organized right, the hanger is reading XL so i’am thinking that was the correct size. bur when i got home it was a size small. Boy was i upset. That made me had too go back on Friday that was a wast of gas , because i Don’t live in North Charleston. I live in Moncks Corner . so i didn’t just look for the right size i told the cashier just too give me my money back and she did with no problem.thanks for letting me vent but i do know i won’t be going back.
They didn’t have anything in my size that catered to my style. I shopped at Ross every week, and for the last couple of years, I’ve been leaving disappointed without purchasing anything. I wear plus sizes most of the styles now are too short or long and not true to size. Clothes seem to be cheaply made. I miss the pre-pandemic Ross, where I could always find a bargain.
I have never experienced anything like this before. As I was shopping and looking at clothes down the isle, the security lady kept lingering around me, and only me. I wasn’t doing anything wrong, she just kept standing next to me the whole time, and moving along with me as I shopped. When I was checking out, and the girl was ringing me up, she called over the security lady again and told her to stand next to me and watch me as I tried to pay for my stuff. I felt targeted, racially profiled, and absolutely uncomfortable. This is not a way to treat a paying customer. I will report this to corporate. There’s absolutely no reason anyone should have feel like they are being watched like a hawk while shopping. Especially when it’s that obvious.
