What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. I love Daiso so much! This location doesn’t have a lot of parking so it can be a little stressful if you’re pressed for time. There are so many cute items and they’re constantly adding new merchandise. It’s all sales final BUT if you think you might like something, I’d recommend just buying it. Most items are $1.50 but there are other items marked higher. There’s a little bit of everything, home decorations, snacks, beauty, accessories, office supplies. That’s not even half of the categories they carry. Overall, a wonderful shopping experience.

  2. Japanese dollar store with the majority of items priced at $1.50. Some unique finds like socks meant to be worn with slippers, papers that soak up the fat when cooking soups, mini shape cutters to liven up your kids’ lunches. Overall, though, there wasn’t anything I had to have, and I’d rather pay a couple bucks more for the convenience of the much larger parking at Don Q or Walmart.

  3. Best DAISO on Oahu!!! I’ve been to all of the locations. This one is the largest. The aisles aren’t cramped or crowded with boxes of inventory. All the products are neatly displayed & you’ll see staff arranging them or restocking, making an effort to maintain the nice appearance. They were very kind & offered help to everyone. The line moved quickly & there were several cashiers. The parking lot is tiny, but free. There’s an attendant that will help you park. He kept traffic going smoothly in & out of the lot. I’m going to stop by every time I’m in the area!

  4. fun store for cheap finds. My wife goes there occasionally and always finds some kitchen accessories she is happy with. Parking is a bit hard.

  5. Densely packed store selling inexpensive Japanese daily sundries. Most items are not tagged, so are priced at $1.75. For the rest, use the YEN conversion chart. One star off for the parking situation. The lot is so small that they’ve hired two full time attendants to manage the chaos.

If you love Japanese products this is the place to stop by. Great selection of Japanese snacks, and household items (pens, kitchenware, stickers, paper, even slipper socks for your furniture!!) I only wish I hadn’t stopped here while trying to waste time before a late evening flight home. I bought pens, dog toys and pretz stick snacks – but I would have bought more if I had more room in the suitcases. Def coming back!

This store is larger than the town one and has a lot of variety, so that was nice. There was a large staff working through the store, especially at the checkout, which made the lines move very quickly. I have been to many locations, including those on the mainland. So although this is a very good location, there are 5 star locations out there, but just not in Hawaii. We love coming here though and it is a great place to shop and a must for us to go once a month to see what they have that is new.

I love Daiso. The staff is friendly. When you see something, you have to just buy it, because it won’t be there the next day. Love it when they have the Hello Kitty Characters. And I love all the Japanese dishes. Japan know what they are doing and making good quality items. Always sending my family and friends the old school stuff from home things they miss. Thank you Diaso

Neat store, lots of stuff. Basically like a Japanese dollar store. Everything is $1.75 unless marked with Yenn. There are charts around the store to tell you the conversion rate.

Daiso store has a lot of products other stores do not have. The products they have are the same quality you will find with their competitors. The store is clean at a good location. The only downfall is you must be to read Japanese when it comes to product description. Their prices are usually cheaper than other stores. Stop by and shop ,and you will be happy you did.
