What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. Absolutely love that I can pretty much shop for just about anything, My Family needs. The workers are extremely helpful and the flow of traffic down the different isle’s isn’t that bad. Would recommend not going on Sundays though because it’s like a madhouse on that day. And they tend to be the cheapest as far as Gas prices go,

  2. I love this store. It is one of my favorite places to shop. Applying for a membership was easy. I always have a quick shopping experience because everything is easy to find. The only problem I have encountered here happened today. I left with confusion. These two guys who I believe were employees asked me if I was ready to check out and I was. I do not know what happened but they would not let me purchase a bag of bagels unless I took two bags of bagels? One of the guys took my bagels out the cart and they were going to put it back. I asked them if there was a buy 1 get 1 free and he said sort of. It is the deal. I told them I only wanted to buy one bag of bagels. I agreed and they put my bag of bagels (1335089) back in my cart and rung it up for $7.99 E on my receipt. It was the bagels in the back by the cakes. There was no sign saying there was a buy 1 get 1 free. After I gave him my Costco card to scan he was holding on to it even after I paid and I had to hold my hand out to him to ask for it back? He asked me (I was wearing a blue dress)and my daughter(toddler) to stand by the register and wait for the other guy who was with him to get me another bag. I did not want to wait around for another bag of bagels that I do not need, so I left. It was the strangest experience. Please, I would like some clarification on this. 06/30/2023 at 14:05 on my receipt OP#113

  3. Be prepared to have people who block the aisles basically having a family reunion & ignoring the 50+ people behind you trying to just shop. The store is always packed. Customers are beyond rude. The only thing that makes this store tolerable is the employees. Most are nice and helpful. If you’re gonna go, I’d say go on a weekday before closing unless you like to live on the wild side and spend 2+ hours just trying to get people to move. If you’re with other I suggest splitting up to get out quicker.

  4. Nice workers, big parking lot, gas station is separated from the main store so easy to navigate. Close to several nicer fast food restaurants. The store is well organized with plenty of room in the aisles to navigate. Not as crowded as many of the Costcos.

  5. Huge pain renewing a membership. Claimed we could do it after checkout siper quick, come to find out they want to make us go through a half-hour process with our cold groceries. I would definitely recommend getting that squared away before shopping regardless of what they claim.

Huge selection of quality goods. Expect to get lost for an hour or so inside of here, if you are anything like me. The most difficult part of shopping here is keeping focused on “needs” and not on “wants!” Best of luck?!

While all Costcos appear to be the same, this one has exceptional customer service. You can always find someone if you need assistance. Their food court is insanely busy, but the people working there are organized, efficient, and quick. The place is always stocked, and the checkout lines, while seemingly long, are very quick.

What more can someone say about Costco? This location is almost always busy and that can be a little frustrating, but can’t take away a star for that. The staff has always been great and the store has always been clean. I’d recommend going mid week in the evenings to miss the crowds. And if you haven’t tried the Costco Chicken Bake, you’re missing out!

First day using our membership card and the lady at entrance was letting all the older people walk through with out checking member cards, I was targeted with my husband (Hispanic) and she only wanted to see our card and followed us. I showed her and she let us through finally. She let everyone go that was going by except us. Then we were at check out and this lady cashier just kept rolling her eyes and looking at me up and down. No idea why there would be this type of treatment but we were treated VERY unprofessional and poorly for our first time at Costco which should of been a great experience. Can’t wait to come back to see this 2 ladies again.

This is the place you get value for money if you are a Costco member. One of them is refilling the propane which is $2.54 per gallon and $11.43 at max to fill the empty cylinder. One thing needs to be careful when buying salads when we find it expires the same day they are selling. Even looking at it, they were definitely old. So, ensure to check the condition and its expiry date.

I love this location in Avondale. By far cheaper gas than the nearby Chevron that is $0.50 per gal higher. During week is best to shop or eat here as weekends are crazy busy.

This is a great store. I use several in the valley and sadly, this one is the one I use the most but that is due to the incredibly crowded parking lot. It is not the fault of Costco so I will not negatively review them, but that parking lot is complete Chaos during busy hours.

The store is nice and clean and they have the usual staples that we have all come to love from Costco.

Love Costco. It’s fun just to browse and see the wide variety that Costco provides and or shop to get great deals for you and your family. The food court is also a must with great deals on hotdogs, Pizza and more

I found everything easily. The Atmosphere is welcoming and it’s clean. Their workers are friendly. It’s always busy but if you know what your are going to buy no need to worry about the crowds.
