September 22, 2023 – Nordstrom’s Beauty event in Westfield Valley Fair mall. Disco music, make up artists, and non-alcholic cocktail & treats!

Worst customer service experience ever!!!
Paid extra for gift wrapping. Came to pickup area, no one greeted me. 5+ min later an associate working returns nearby indicated someone would be with me shortly. Several more minutes later, a different associate finally comes out. He scans my code & goes to receive my online order pickup. Many minutes later he comes back with items unwrapped. I show him on the email and the print out that they were to be wrapped. He says he will do so now. Ignores the customer in line behind me. 10min later the first associate who was working returns came over to help the gentleman in line behind me (good!) … may times I asked where the second guy went, was pretty much ignored or told they were helping other guests. Eventually I ask a third associate if she can call the manager. She was about to when guy who was wrapping my order came back. He had again not read any of the instructions (which I saw were printed on the ticket) to see that there were three charges for extra gift wrapping with personalized notes…and therefore my order was NOT for one person. Instead he had extremely sloppily wrapped everything in one box which took 20+ min. Again I asked for a manager. He says he was calling, picked up the phone went out of ear-shot with my order. 5 more minutes pass. I tract him down where he was trying to re-wrap the order. I asked if a manager was coming. He didn’t answer. The third associate stepped in & said the manager would be with me shortly. 30sec later said manager showed up, did not introduce herself, did not have any indication she worked there (no badge etc), did not ask me what I wanted—which at that point was just to leave. Instead she walked off with the associate who had wrapped everything to go re-wrap the order. I go over to the gift wrap area and ask for my order. They finally give it to me and I leave after wasting 45min. The store was NOT busy, it was 7pm on a Saturday. This mall & location get extremely busy as Xmas gets closer—do NOT recommend giving them your business, they cannot be relied on!!
Best customer service. Great selections and a great store to shop with. I don’t shop at any other places besides this location or any other Nordstrom location.
I love how they have good places to eat at every level. The stores are always organized and clean easy to shop and browse.
Nordstrom at Westfield Valley Fair Mall definitely got the 2023 Christmas spirits…making it so joyous to shop
I am not a frequent shopper, but a loyal shopper. Nordstrom’s understands the importance of quality and service at a level not adopted by most other retailers. They ensure their sales associates are aligned to their values and are knowledgeable about products. There are no unwelcoming or pressure sales practices evident.
