This Tesco just gets worse and worse. Today at 12 noon on a busy Saturday, they shut 4 self checkouts as the queue was getting big?! It makes no sense. The way this store is managed and is crazy.
Big Tesco in one of the last pockets of inner London to have avoided the broad brush of gentrification. Normally has people hanging around outside asking for change. Fairly well stocked inside but don’t count on the toilets working. If I have a long list and the time to do so then I prefer taking the trip to Surrey Quays over this branch.
What’s the point of self-service when the tills are not actually open
Generally a nice shopping experience with a decent range of goods. However, today I went to this store and noticed a couple of packs of raw chicken were ruptured and even leaking blood onto the fridge display. I told several staff members and the seemed completely unbothered despite the risk of SALMONELLA or E.COLI. I appreciate mistakes happen but you need to respond and such a feckless attitude to raw poultry is a major food safety risk.
Has a lot of vegan items! Got many vegan meat (sausages, bacons), pies, and ice cream. Many wicked kitchen (including mint cho chip ice cream) items as well.
