  1. Sales person was very rude. I would not recommend talking to her. She was supposed to include deals that didn’t happen. We got the items but later we got billed for them. Accessories are outrageously expensive. If you can wait, buy accessories from Amazon, they are a better deal or even Walmart which is practically next door. Boo on Verizon. I wish I never left t-mobile.

  2. I wish I’d have read the reviews as well. My experience has been ABYSMAL. I have lived on the phone and in chat with Verizon because of so many issues. The latest? A bill that’s more than $125/mo higher than originally quoted thanks to promos not being applied correctly. This feels very “bait-and-switch,” which is also very illegal. Meanwhile, I have a jam-packed day tomorrow and have been on with customer service now more than 2 hours. Honestly, I’ve lost track of how many hours I’ve spent trying to make this work. I’d rather just return everything tomorrow, built customer service is going line by line to correct all of the errors of missing promotions, and I’ll basically be functioning on MAYBE 4 hours of sleep because of this ongoing fiasco. Don’t switch to Verizon!!!

  3. I went to Russell Cellular in Garland and will never go back. If you want to have a horrible customer experience go there! I walked in on a Sunday to order an Apple Ultra watch. They placed the order and said I would have it in a couple days. A couple days went by and I called the store….an answering service picked up and would not let me talk to the store. I asked if my watch had come in and they said they talked to the store and it was not there yet. They said the store would call me when it arrived. At the end of a week I called again, the answering service told me they would call when it arrived. At the end of two weeks I called Verizon customer service who informed me that the shipment was lost by FedEx and the local store knew. The customer service agent called the store with me on the line to see if they could help locate the shipment and the person in the store got agitated and hung up on the customer service rep. The rep told me that in order to cancel the order so they could place a new order I would have to go back to the store to cancel the order. I am writing this review from the Russell Cellular location in front of the employee who has been “trying” to cancel my order for the watch for 1.5 hours. He is on the phone with Verizon customer service and his manager…because the shipment was lost they don’t know how to cancel the order. I talked to the manager and he was unhelpful. This has been one of the worst customer service experiences…complete and total incompetence. Avoid this place at all cost.

  4. Hi!! So, let me just say that I’ve had nothing but positive experiences here at this Verizon store location. I’d like to give a shout out to a special employee who works there. They also happen to be one of my best friends!! She goes by Lexi, and let me tell you, she knows her stuff. She has a huge heart and is passionate about helping others. She’s helped me numerous times. This is a great location. Everyone who works here is awesome! Definitely check it out

I get better service dealing directly with Verizon instead of an “authorized retailer.” There was no wait and the employees were friendly enough but they didn’t have much actually IN STOCK- devices (which, really, that’s pretty necessary), as always they try to push the upsale on you with screen protectors, cases and chargers. All of which are way overpriced and again, not much to choose from. My monthly bill was GROSSLY underestimated, I still don’t understand why Verizon can not give you an accurate monthly rate; this is NOT acceptable. When my order arrived (5 days later despite the free 2 day shipping) I was not notified, I only knew because I was checking tracking daily. Different employee “helped” us when we picked up our order, by helped I mean he took our credit card and handed us our phone after failing to convince us to buy more stuff from the limited selection and his overall vibe was unhelpful, unfriendly and totally apathetic. I don’t need a song and dance, just a general hey, I’m here to do my job what can I help you with? and maybe a smile. Oh, and an actual accurate amount you will pay, not only monthly but also what you’ll owe when you pick up your backordered stuff would be great.

    I was skeptical about coming to this store because of the reviews. I didn’t wait long, but I was inquiring about an Apple Watch. I was greeted by Elzy! She jumped right in and answered all my questions and concerns. She got me squared away and on my way. I had a great experience and will return again.

    Went in to pick something up, that had already been payed for. Employee that was helping got pulled away to help someone else who walked after I did. Should have been a quick pick up. *Update- went in today and Jeremy was very helpful and his manager said he would credit me for the fees I will be charged for the device.
